(NY) In response to the threat of Islamic vehicle attacks in the
Big Apple, Mayor Bill de Blasio announced
on Tuesday new measures to prevent religious bigots from driving into people and spoiling their day. Starting later this
month, the city will begin installing more than 1,500 new permanent bollards in
Times Square and other public spaces:
