(Dodoma) Corruption is endemic across the third world and nowhere is it more prevalent than in Africa. In fact one of the main reasons why Africa is such a basket case, is due to the continents inability to tackle corruption.

In fact African leaders would rather defend one of their own caught with his fingers in the national bank than lambaste him. But times are slowly changing. Be it questioning the South African President regards spending £13 million on his own home. (Mr Zuma claims that the work was carried out without his knowledge) How Herbert Kabafunzaki the Ugandan state minister for labour, was arrested for soliciting a £17k bribe in which to make a sexual harassment case disappear or even how 5 judges in Nigeria have been nicked for corruption.  

Yes the place is still the most corrupt continent in the world, but hopefully things are changing for the better. Which brings me to the story of how the Tanzanian President John Magufuli has sacked nearly 10,000 civil servants for having fake education certificates. He was responding to the release of a government report into fraudulent qualifications in the public sector. The education minister said that some had been using their relatives' school certificates, while others did not appear on official records at all. This mass sacking follows how Magufuli removed more than 10,000so-called ghost workers from its public sector payroll in a crackdown on corruption last year.

Isn’t it nice to see that at least one African leader cares more about his country, than his own wallet. Kind of explains why instead of lavishing loads of money on independence day celebrations in 2015, he instead got the people to celebrate by cleaning up the country and spent the money instead on Hospitals.

Turkey: The march towards Caliphate continues

(Ankara)  It appears that the march towards a pure Islamic caliphate inside Turkey continues with the Pocket Dictator banning TV dating shows, which followed the banning of Wikipedia which followed the sacking of 4000 public servants which followed last Wednesdays sacking of 9000 police officers.
Also banned was the drinking of alcohol in public place in the tourist resort of Antalya

The Turkish government has excused all of the above by saying in its Official Gazette that all those sacked were suspected of links to "terrorist organisations and structures presenting a threat to national security.

Also on Saturday Erdoğan hinted of invading Northern Iraq in which to tackle not ISIS, but the Kurds who are fighting them:

"Turkey knows what to do and when to do it, we may come there overnight all of a sudden,"

LONDON/WASHINGTON: A man arrested on suspicion of planning a terrorist act on Thursday, carrying knives near Prime Minister Theresa May's office, was on a ship raided by Israeli soldiers in 2010, sources familiar with the investigation have told Reuters.

The 27-year-old man was arrested by armed counterterrorism officers during a stop-and-search as part of an ongoing security operation, British police said.

Austria: President Van Der Bellen: All women should be made to cover their heads in which to defend Islam

(Wien) Austrian President Alexander Van Der Bellen gave a talk at The House of the European Union in Vienna the other day. He started talking about ways in which to combat the rise of the far right and then touched on the subject of 'Islamophobia'. He then stated that one way to combat hatred towards Muslims would be in future to make all women to cover their heads ‘Islamic’ style so as to ensure that Muslims don’t feel threatened.

UK: Busy couple of days in the fight against radical Islam.

(London)   Well its Friday and these past 2 days have been somewhat hectic when it comes to radical Islamists living in the UK.

We’ve got the case of 20 year old confused student Damon Smith, who whilst saying he was born a Christian, has something for Islam. So in between reading the Koran praying to Allah and keeping a pretty big scrap book on ISIS (which includes a pop out section containing actual weapons). He likes to build bombs and as part of the show and tell part of his radical Islamic education. He left a rucksack containing a flask bomb on a London underground train. Thankfully the rucksack was noticed, but that said the device did detonate but only partially He was arrested not long after and he is in court this week. The defence are making a big issue of him having ‘Asperger's syndrome , that he's a mummy's boy ,that he was bullied at school and that he isn’t a Muslim. He is claiming it was just a prank. That said they can’t seem to explain why the idiot had a Koran on his possession when he was picked up and why the IED had a load of ball-bearings inside it?

 Yesterday 19 year old Haroon Syed pleaded guilty on Thursday at the Old Bailey, to planning a bomb attack in London, having researched potential targets including Buckingham Palace and an Elton John concert. The court heard how Syed tried to get weapons online, including a bomb vest or explosives, and trawled the web to find a busy area in the capital such as Oxford Circus to launch a mass casualty attack. The Elton John concert researched by the teenage terrorist fell on the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.

Funny enough his older brother, Nadir was convicted and jailed last year for life for plotting to behead a poppy-seller or police community support officer on Remembrance Sunday.  Syed will be convicted later on in the year.

Yesterday afternoon, heavily armed officers carried out a raid in North London on a terrace house where a woman was shot and 4 others arrested. The woman who was shot was taken to hospital. She was “one of the subjects of the investigation”, the Met police said, but had not yet been arrested due to her condition and remains under a police guard in hospital. The four people in custody are a man and a woman, both aged 20, a 43-year-old woman and a 16-year-old boy. All four have been arrested on suspicion of the commission, preparation and instigation of terrorist acts under section 41 of the Terrorism Act 2000.

A Mexican restaurant was banned from handing out sombreros to freshers by student union officials at the University of East Anglia last year. Staff at Pedro’s Tex Mex Cantina said they were “celebrating the culture“ at freshers’ fair, but were told they were breaking the union’s equality regulations by promoting racist imagery and cultural appropriation.

The NUS refused to pass a motion condemning ISIS for fears it could condemn Muslims as a whole. The motion asked students “to boycott anyone found to be funding the IS or supplying them with goods, training, travel or soldiers,” which newly elected president Malia Bouattia argued could encourage the suppression and surveillance of Muslims.

An NUS motion said: “Misogyny, transphobia, racism and biphobia are often present in LGBT+ societies,” blaming “cis gay men” in particular.  It advised university LGBT+ societies to drop the gay men’s rep, as they were not a marginalised group within the LGBT movement.

Two police wounded by ‘Islamist’ on France’s Reunion island:

(Reunion) Two police officers have been shot and wounded during the arrest of a suspected radical Islamist on the French island of Reunion. The 20 year old gunman, a recent convert to Islam was described as a "dangerous individual" and was detained with his mother. He was wanted for "glorifying terrorism," the Interior Ministry said, adding that he "refused to be arrested and fired a rifle at police". Weapons and ingredients for making explosives were later found at their apartment in the town of Saint Benoit.

UK: Knife carrying man arrested outside Parliament.

(London)  Police have arrested a knife carrying man 50 yards from the scene of the murderous terrorist attack carried out outside Parliament in London last month. The arrest came about due to a intelligence operation that had earlier identified the man detained as being of concern to counter-terrorism investigators. The man, believed to be from the London area was believed to  have been about to launch an attack and he was stopped by armed officers in a “targeted” stop and search.

Police have issued a statement: 

"The man was arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon and on suspicion of the commission, preparation and instigation of acts of terrorism. Knives have been recovered from him. Detectives from the counter-terrorism command are continuing their investigation, and as a result of this arrest there is no immediate known threat."

UK: Refugee who fled racism in Palestine in court over throwing.... racist abuse

(Manchester) 39 year old Palestinian Riyad Hantouli, came to the UK in 2002 claiming asylum because he claimed he was racially persecuted back home. Since gaining asylum he has openly displayed the racist attributes which he claims he sought sanctuary.

After getting fired from his job in Jan, Hantouli continue to frequent the place, order drinks and refuse to pay. This took a nasty turn when after a barman refused to serve him Hantouli became angry and called him a "motherf***er", and said "I'll kill you". He continued to call him a "motherf***er" and spat straight into his face.'The following day, the defendant saw the same man getting out of a taxi and approached him, began calling him a motherfucker and assaulted him.

A few days later Hantouli went to a takeaway and asked for a chicken burger only to then claim his credit card was not working. The worker said he could pay next time but Hantouli then asked if he could be loaned £10 and when it was refused he ranted: 'Iranian b*****d, all you Iranian and Pakistanis are all the same. You are an Iranian b*****d you motherf***er. Iranians don't come into my shop'.

The same night an asian worker at another takeaway called police after Hantouli got some beer only to then threaten him saying 'You motherf***er I'm your boss, I'm paying your money. I'm going to damage your car and set the takeaway on fire.' Police were called and arrested him after he spat in the face of a customer.

Days later, Hantouli was arrestedagain amid fears he was armed with a knife after a taxi driver said he threatened by him having refused to pay his fare. Hantouli overheard shouting: 'motherf***er' at the cabbie driver as he was led away.

Then in February, officers were called out again when Hantouli refused to pay another taxi fare and he began spitting and swearing at them when was confronted.  After being handcuffed and placed in the back of the van, he continued to spit and kick the door saying: 'I am going to remember you face, I am going to shoot you.'

Funny enough despite an impressive grasp of English, Hantouli requested the use of an interpreter in court which to express his remorse , where he was convicted of causing racially aggravated fear of violence, assault, theft and being drunk and disorderly for his penchant for racism he received a 20-week jail term suspended for two years and told to complete 200 hours of unpaid work. He was also banned from three takeaway restaurants under the terms of a restraining order.

India: Somali pirates who starved the crew of the ship they stole to death, complain about the food in Prison and beg to be released.

(India) April 2010, Somali crooks commandeered 3 Thai fishing vessels and demanded a ransom. Whilst negotiations were ongoing regards the safe return of the crews, the boats were re-purposed as motherships for stealing other ships and thus armed they left the shores of Somalia where these thugs claimed they took to piracy in which to combat illegal fishing and sailed around 1400 miles to the Lakshadweep Islands in which to make a killing.

This they continued to do until Jan 2011, when the Indian Navy caught up with them , in the ensuring gun battle, the Thai trawler Prantalay 14 was sunk with 10 pirates killed, 15 arrested and 20 of the 24 Thai crew being rescued. The other 4 crew members had died of starvation  during their captivity.

Well move forward 6 years and those 15 Somali pirates had their day in court yesterday in the city of Mumbai. 33 year old Bon John Ali and the group leader opined about the hardships he and his fellow cut-throats have faced these past 6 years:

“Fish is our staple. We don't like the jail food. Hand us over to our country people”

He also stated that the 10 who died had drowned as they did not know how to swim.

The youngest 22 year old Aways Mohammed cried that he was underage when arrested and desperately wanted to see his family.

I suppose if these thugs had been arrested by the West they would have sought asylum and been given it, with nobody caring about how these self proclaiming victims demanding better food, medical treatment and an easy time, didn't do likewise to the crews of the fishing vessels whom they had no problem mistreating. 

Turkey: Thousands of Police arrested in Turkish Night of the Long Knives part 2

(Ankara) Last night saw over 1000 members of the Turkish police force arrested by the authorities on charges of being 'secret Iman’s' belonging to a so called religious sect which the pocket dictator claims is set on disposing Turkish dictator for life  Recep Tayyip Erdogan from power.  In a move already seen enacted against the military, the Islamist Government has simply removed those people who don’t subscribe to its bigoted religious views and no doubt will replace them, with its own followers in which to continue the march towards a new Ottoman caliphate.

I wonder if the Turkish police are going to be given new uniforms which are all black?

Yemen: Saudi Navy foils suicide boat attack

The other month Yemeni rebels funded and supplied by Iran  succeeded in attacking a Saudi Naval ship bythe use of remote control suicide boats.  Buoyed by that success, it appears the Houthi decided to try again, but as the Saudi Navy was now wise to this method of attack, the rebels simply tried again up the coast in Saudi Arabia off Jazan Province in the hope that people there wouldn't be expecting an attack. Didn't work as the 3 boats were blown out of the water by the ship they had targeted.

(Ankara) The twists and turns of the fighting that is taking place across Iraq and Syria took another unscheduled diversion today when Turkey carried out airstrikes on Kurdish  troops fighting ISIS in both Iraq and Syria.

The Turks have excused the airstrikes by claiming to killed 40 terrorists in northern Iraq and 30 terrorists in north-eastern Syria, "within the scope of the international law" in which to prevent the terrorist group from sending terrorists, arms, ammunition, and explosives to Turkey.

Italy:Man who planned attacks on 'non-believers' arrested.

(Turin) Police in the North of Italy police, assisted by Italy's Special Operations Group, arrested  Mouner El Aoual a 29 year old illegal immigrant from Morocco on Monday afternoon, following seven months of surveillance after an FBI tip-off

It transpires that Mouner  openly promoted Islamist extremism online, calling in one message for "non-believers" to be "roasted on kebab skewers" and fed to dogs. Mouner who has lived in Italy since 2008, used 'walkie-talkie app' Zello to discuss his plans to carry out an attack in Italy. He also shared material about combat techniques, how to throw police investigators off track, and behaviours to adopt in order to become "invisible" while living in a Western country. In one chat group, he styled himself as the Isis group's spokesperson in Italy, using the nickname 'ibn dawala7', meaning 'son of the state', and swore allegiance to Isis chief Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi.

Spain: 9 arrested over 2016 Brussels airport attack.

(Barcelona) Nine men were arrested and 12 properties raided in Barcelona in an operation against Islamist militants believed to be linked to last year's attack on Brussels airport. The nine arrested were Moroccan apart from one Spaniard and were aged between 30 and 40, most already had criminal records related to organised crime such as drug trafficking. Police said they started tracking the gang as a result of a tip-off from a member of the public. The tip-off was an anonymous call to police from a member of the public concerned about drug trafficking.

The arrests come a day after Spanish police arrested an Egyptian man on terrorist charges.

Egypt: Suicide bomber kills 4 Bedouin

(Rafah) An Islamic State suicide bomber has killed four members of a local Bedouin tribe and wounded others in the northern Sinai Peninsula. The attacker, driving a car filled with explosives, struck a checkpoint near the town of Rafah, adjacent to the Gaza Strip, manned by members of the Tarabeen tribe.

The attack appears to be a continuation of clashes between locals and IS after the pious Islamic bigots banned smoking and decided to shoot up a lorry smuggling cigarettes which just happened to belong to the tribe. 

Somalia: 4 Terrorists executed

(Mogadishu) Four men have been executed in Somalia who were behind a 2016 attack that killed 80 people, The four men were executed in Baidoa, which lies about 245 km (150 miles) northwest of Mogadishu, on Monday. Maj. Nur Aden, a military officer in Baidoa, told Reuters.

“Yesterday, four militants who had been behind blasts were executed. More men accused of being Al-Shabab members will be executed today or tomorrow,” 

The four were found guilty of being responsible for the terrorist atatck in Baidoa in February 2016, resulting in 80 deaths.

Three ISIS fighters 'are killed by rampaging wild BOARS' near Iraqi farmland

(Daily Mail) Three Islamic State jihadis have reportedly been killed by rampaging wild boars near Iraqi farmland.

The three Islamic State militants were cut down by the feral boar known to inhabit Kirkuk in the the al-Rashad region, a local news site claims.

They attacked the militants and left three killed, Iraqi News reports.

Chances are that by tomorrow at least one Arab cleric or newspaper will claim the boars were trained by Mossad.

Germany: Crime statistics for 2016 released

(Berlin) German Interior Minister Thomas de Maiziere today released German crime statistics for 2016 and it didn't make for good reading, he revealedthat:

• There was a sharp rise in the number of offences listed under the heading "Crime on Crime". Here, 193,542 cases were registered, an increase of 6.7 percent.
• Dangerous and serious bodily injuries increased by 9.9 percent to 140,033 cases.
• The number of rape and sexual coercion rose by 12.8 per cent to 7,919 cases
• Murder and manslaughter rose by 14.3% 
• The number of motor vehicle thefts decreased slightly by 0.3 percent. 36,388 stolen cars were registered nicked across the country.
• 3,372 cases of politically or ideologically motivated crimes by foreigners were recorded – an increase of 66.5 %
• Narcotics crime rate increased by 7.1 percent, numbering 302,594 cases.
• Right wing offences saw an increase of 2.6 % with 23,555 offences registered
• Left wing offences saw a decrease of 2.2% at 9389 cases
• Crimes committed by refugees were up 52.7 percent in 2016 compared to 2015.

All in all this all boiled down to Bavaria being the safest state, Berlin the least, excluding immigration-related crimes, Bavaria was the safest state with a crime rate per capita of 4,785 per 100,000 residents. Berlin has the highest crime frequency rate - more than double the national average - at 15,700 crimes per 100,000 residents. Bremen had the second highest crime rate at more than 13,200 crimes per 100,000 people, followed by Hamburg at close to 13,000 crimes per 100,000 residents.

France: Leftwing rabble protest at Le Pen coming second in French elections

(Paris)  Have you noticed something, that the so called people who subscribe to the left of the political spectrum have no tolerance for any other mindset than their own, You know those people who scream out 'Liberté, égalité, fraternité' have no problem becoming the very people they claim to hate the most 'intolerant bigots' when somebody doesn't do as they demand. Be it voting for the Conservatives in the Uk, Brexit or even Donald Trump for the so called enlightened people amongst us that is a step too far and allows them to scream, scream and scream about how unfair life is.

Yesterday the French voted and they picked Centrist Emmanuel Macron (23.8%) and  far-right leader Marine Le Pen (21.5%)  to go forward for the final vote next month.

Yet to some having Le Pen in the final round as per the wishes for the French people was wrong and so they violently protested across France last night in which to express their displeasure:

Israel: Two sisters travelling from Gaza for Cancer treatment found with hidden explosives.

(Gaza) Two sisters from the Gaza Strip were caught red handed at the Erez crossing with explosive materials hidden inside tubes designated for cancer medicine.

The sisters had obtained a permit to cross into Israel so one of them could receive cancer treatment at an Israeli hospital, The explosive materials had been “sent by Hamas and it is believed that they were meant to be used to carry out attacks in Israel in the near future,” according to the Shin Bet, Israel’s internal security agency. It is believed that the substances, which were discovered during a security check, were meant to be used in improvised explosive devices.

55 year old Basema Atallah, has gone for treatment of colorectal cancer in Jerusalem more than 10 times since last July and has never had a problem before. Her husband Ragheb Attlah said his wife was unaware that she may have been smuggling anything illegal into Israel.

"Someone asked them to take a bottle of medicine on their way for a patient there," he said. "The bottle was closed and they did not know what is inside. It seems there was something and this caused disruption,"

Ragheb Atallah said his wife was released and has been given permission again to go to the hospital, but her sister, 57-year-old Ibtessam Eid, remains in Israeli custody.

The GBU-43/B Massive Ordnance Air Blast Bomb (MOAB) - or, in military speak, Mother of All Bombs is a 30ft (9m), 21,600lb (9,800kg), GPS-guided munition that is dropped from the cargo doors of an MC-130 transport plane and detonates shortly before it hits the ground. The MOAB falls from the aircraft on a pallet, which is then tugged aside by a parachute allowing the weapon to glide down, stabilised and directed by four grid-like fins. Its principal effect is a massive blast wave - said to stretch for a mile in every direction - created by 18,000lb of TNT.

Russia: Police pick up brothers behind Metro bombing.

(Moscow) The Russian FSB have done a fine job of picking up the brothers behind the deadly St Petersberg Metro Bombing from 3 weeks back.   First to get picked up 3 days ago was 27 year old Abror Azimov who masterminded the attack and his older brother 29 year Akram who financed the attack was picked up yesterday

It is believed that Asimov trained the perpetrator of the bombing, Akbardzhon Dzhalilov, who left the explosive device in the train and was also killed in the explosion.

U.S. President Donald Trump demonstrated a new willingness to use force against the regime after conducting cruise missile strike targeting the Shayrat Airbase in Central Syria on April 6. The strikes came in response to the regime’s use of sarin gas against the opposition-held town of Khan Sheikhoun in Northern Syria on April 4 that marked one of its deadliest chemical weapons attacks since the 2013 Sarin Attacks in Damascus. The U.S. attempted to leverage its limited strikes against the regime to force Russia to reveal the extent of its commitment to Iran and Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.

The Kremlin rejected calls to distance itself from Assad after U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson met with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Russian President Vladimir Putin on April 13. Russia also vetoed a draft UN Security Council resolution outlining an investigation into the regime’s culpability for chemical weapons attacks. The White House nonetheless also messaged continuity in its military stance towards the Syrian Civil War. Tillerson noted in an interview on April 11 that the “first priority” remains the defeat of ISIS in Syria and warned against “violent regime change” similar to Libya. U.S. Secretary of Defence James Mattis also stated that the “military policy in Syria has not changed” and stressed that the “rest of the campaign stays on track…exactly as it was before” the chemical weapons attack.

Pierre-Henry Brandet of the French interior ministry said the attacker had driven up to the site of the attack by car. He got out of the car and used an automatic weapon to fire on a police van. The attacker killed one police officer and seriously wounded two other officers. He tried to fire at others as he ran off before being shot dead by police.

The gunman has been identified as 39-year-old, Karim  Cheurfi who used the alias 'Abu Yousuf the Belgian'. He was convicted for a 2001 shooting which left two police officers seriously injured, according to reports, and was given a 20 year jail term in 2003. It appears he was released early.

Thailand: 2 Terrorists blow themselves up during a night of attacks

(Bangkok)  Southern Thailand suffered 13 terrorist attacks last night, injuring 8 people which targeted police stations and checkpoints in 12 separate districts in Muslim-majority provinces in Thailand's deep south. The night also saw 2 terrorists blow themselves up whilst they took part in the above.

Buddhist Thailand has been in the grip of a Islamic separatist insurgency for years. Around 7,000 people have been killed since the conflict flared in 2004. The terrorists regularly carry out bombings and drive-by shootings of civilians and officials. Their aim is to cede the southern Muslimmajority south from Thailand and form their own Islamic state. Funny enough they demand that Islamic neighbour ‘Malaysia’ is allowed to act as guarantor.

It was the second major set of coordinated attacks in two weeks. On April 7, terrorists set off dozens of bombs in southern Thailand, bringing down power lines and setting tires on fire to block roads, but causing no deaths or injuries. The spike in violence appears to be in response to the Thai government's rejection of a conditional offer for peace talks made this month by the Barisan Revolusi Nasional (BRN) which isn’t even involved in the peace talks with the Thai Government.

(Fox News) Police said the man who killed three people on a shooting spree in downtown Fresno California, on Tuesday while shouting "Allahu Akbar" wanted to kill as many people as possible after a warrant was released for his arrest in the murder of a motel security guard last week.

Fresno Police Chief Jerry Dyer said Kori Ali Muhammad, 39, knew he was being searched for and he "decided he was going to kill more people."

According to Dyer, Muhammad surrendered to officers at the scene and told police "you guys are looking for me."

Police do not think the shooting spree was tied to terrorism and was "solely based on race" as all the victims were white males.

Muhammad went by the nickname "Black Jesus" and has made posts against white people and the government on his Facebook page.

Afghanistan: Partial Threat Assessment: November 23, 2016 - March 15, 2017

(ISW) The U.S. faces pressure from Russia as well as militant groups that seek to undermine the U.S. and NATO missions in Afghanistan during spring and summer 2017. The ANSF faces readiness gaps that will expose multiple provincial capitals to recurrent attacks by the Taliban and escalating attacks in Kabul by multiple groups, including ISIS. These threats will compound the difficulty the ANSF already faces in holding territory recaptured from Taliban forces in 2016. Russia meanwhile will attempt to thwart the U.S. and NATO by brokering peace talks with the Taliban that increasingly incorporate competing international power centres, such as China and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).

The Taliban set conditions during the winter phase of its yearlong campaign, Operation Omari, to target provincial capitals during its upcoming spring 2017 offensive. Taliban militants attacked security posts and district centres near the provincial capitals of Helmand, Kunduz, and Uruzgan provinces over the reporting period, indicating their intent to attack these cities during their upcoming spring 2017 offensive when they announce it in April 2017. Taliban militants had also launched simultaneous attacks on the same three cities, as well as the provincial capital of Farah Province, in October 2016. Taliban militants attacked four district centers in Helmand in January and February 2017 to weaken security forces and gain territory to stage attacks against Lashkar Gah city. Taliban militants also launched several attacks against security posts on the outskirts of Tarin Kot city, the provincial capital of Uruzgan province in January and February. Taliban militants also attacked ANA bases in Baghlan-e Jadid District in Baghlan Province in March 2017 in an attempt to gain control of the ground line of communication (GLOC) that the ANSF uses to send reinforcements to Kunduz City from Kabul. These attacks indicate that the Taliban intends to launch ground campaigns against Lashkar Gah, Tarin Kot, and Kunduz cities during the upcoming spring offensive.

ISIS Wilayat Khorasan took advantage of ungoverned and remote spaces in northwest Afghanistan to expand its territory. ISIS expanded beyond its stronghold in Nangarhar province in eastern Afghanistan and established a base to receive and train foreign fighters in northwest Afghanistan. Uzbek militants fighting with ISIS in Jowzjan province exerted social control by destroying Sufi shrines, burning civilian homes, and erecting prisons in early 2017. ISIS deployed recruiters from Zabul province to set up a training camp in Nimroz province in early 2017. ISIS will prioritize expanding its control in Afghanistan as it faces the loss of its capital cities in Syria and Iraq in 2017. ISIS will also attack Afghan state institutions directly. ISIS launched a complex attack against the ANSF national military hospital in Kabul on March 8, 2017. The attack demonstrated an increase in capability, insider access, and the transfer of techniques from other groups in the area or from ISIS’s core terrain.

ANSF force regeneration is not on track to match the Taliban’s spring offensives. The ANSF failed to secure large swaths of territory from Taliban militants during the winter phase of its own counter-offensive campaign, Operation Shafaq. The majority of its holding forces are insufficiently trained and under-equipped, requiring additional support from Afghan Special Security Forces. Taliban militants targeted southern and northern districts during the winter phase of Operation Omari while the ANSF conducted anti-ISIS operations in the East. The ANSF continues to struggle with high casualties and attrition despite ongoing U.S.-led force regeneration efforts. Recruitment generally keeps pace with these losses, but it is insufficient to build the force necessary to clear and hold territory from Taliban militants. The Afghan Air Force’s (AAF) capabilities are steadily increasing, but its airframes are in “dire condition” due to high operational tempo and compromised helicopter maintenance due to sanctions on Russian equipment. Russia will attempt to leverage this weakness to insert itself in Afghanistan’s security sector on its own terms. The Taliban will likely capitalize on the ANSF’s readiness gaps by launching simultaneous offensives in separate regions during its spring offensive in order to stretch and weaken the ANSF to a breaking point.

Turkey:Four brothers murder their 35 year old sisiter for ‘hanging around with men’

(Ankara)  When the body of 35 year old mother of two Özlem Aykutluğ, was found on the road between Istanbul and Ankara after having been shot six times in Feb. Homicide police came to the conclusion that it bore all the hallmarks of an honour killing and so decided to focus their investigation on her family in the eastern province of Kars. They worked out that the decision to kill her was made by her family, when it was revealed she had been brought to Ankara two days before the killing. 

The police picked up her four brothers: Ersin, 37, Erol, 32, Ferhat, 25 and Yasin, 29  and they confessed to the murder. It transpired that the brothers told their sister Aykutluğ they were going to Istanbul by car, and they killed her whilst on the road to Istanbul from Ankara. Apparently Aykutluğ understood that she was about to be murdered and told her brothers to protect her children.

The brothers revealed Aykutluğ was “hanging around with men and everyone in the village was talking about it.”

“She put a slur on our family’s honor. We cleaned our honour and we don’t regret it,”

Pakistan: Rampaging Mob murder University Student because they thought he was an Ahmadiyya Muslim

(Pakistan) They say that Universities are a forum for all ideas So when students at Abdul Wali Khan University  became aware of rumours that two of their fellow peers could be Ahmadiyya Muslims. ( a persecuted Islamic sect) instead of letting sleeping dogs lie, they did what Muslims do the world over when something crops up that their single brain cells cannot comprehend or accept. They marched on the 2 students. On finding the first one they made him recite passages from the Koran in which to clarify to them all that he was actually a real Muslim (to them Sunni)  this Abdullah did, but as this didn’t sate the Mobs anger they decided to beat him for his troubles. Thankfully for Abdullah the Police had been informed and they rescued him in the nick of time.  Unfortunately for the next victim the 20 policemen sent to the University were unable to contain the roughly 4000 bigots who formed that mob.

Angry at been thwarted, the raging mob marched into the student residence found 23 year old Mohammad Mashal and beat him to death, not only that, but for one of the religious bigots getting beaten up by a mob wasn’t good enough for poor marshal so for good measure they shot him dead in which to make sure. So in a nutshell a poor young man was murdered by a mass mob because of a f-ing rumour.

Germany: 3 Bombs target Dortmund Football team, police arrest Islamist.

(Dortmund)  On Tuesday, German Football team Borussia Dortmund were supposed to play Monaco in a champions league match (Champions League is where all the best clubs in Europe hash it out to see who is nbr 1)  As the Team bus departed the hotel , 3 blasts bracketed the bus,  thankfully nobody was seriously injured (I team player suffered a broken arm and a policeman was slightly injured). Investigations found somebody had laid 3 remote control pipe bombs at a junction leading away from the teams hotel .

A note left behind stated that the attack had been carried out “in the name of Allah the gracious, the merciful one”. It made reference to the Christmas market attack and accused German fighter jets in operation in Syria of involvement in killing Muslims in the Islamic State caliphate. It also called for the closure of the US base at Ramstein in western Germany.

Within hours the German police had arrested a 25 year old Iraqi islamist with and are currently searching for his partner in crime. 

Uk: 27 men and two women in court over child abuse

(Huddersfield)  For years anybody who dared report that their daughters were being groomed and raped by Muslims, were pillared by the ethical latte crowd and then silenced by playing the 'racist' card.
