(Brussels) Concerns about the Islam party, a relativity new Islamic political party which burst onto the scene in the 2012 elections winning 2 seats has the Belgique political elites mulling over whether to ban them from the forthcoming elections after Redouane Ahrouch, the treasurer of the Islam party, advocated a
separation between men and women on public transport. the reversal of the hijab ban and schools to offer Halal food for all.

Naturally this hasn't gone gone well inside the non Islamic population in the country, State Secretary for Asylum and Migration Theo Francken
(N-VA) reacted very loudly to the interview.
"Women do not have rights in their sharia world. And it starts with separate public transport. I am disgusted by this ISLAM party, this is spitting on Europe."
