(Sialkot) Last week in the Punjab area of Pakistan , Rizwan
Gujjar who had fallen in love with 25 year old Christian girl Asma who worked
as a domestic servant at his familys
house, asked her to renounce her faith and marry him. She refused and in order
to regain his honour Rizwan poured petrol all over her and set her on fire. Then as
only a brave Pakistani male can do, he did a runner.
Asma survived the murder attempt however she has suffered 80% burns to her body and succumbed to her injuries on Sunday (Hat tip to Soloman2)
