UK: Mohammed charged after he drove his Maserati into Police

(London)  On Sunday morning 51 year old Mohammed Shisq, decided to ram his Maserati at speed into a couple of police officers as they returned to their patrol vehicle in the early hours.  They had been assisting with an unrelated matter and were parked up on the A406 North Circular Road, near Brent Park, when the car driven by Mohammed collided with them at 3.40am as they returned to their marked police car. Colleagues who arrived at the scene lifted the Maserati so that paramedics could reach the officers. It is understood the woman was pinned against a wall.  The male officer sustained serious injuries, Metropolitan Police said in a statement, and a further update on his condition is awaited. The female officers has sustained a number of fractures and her condition is serious but stable. A woman in her 40s, who had been in the car, was not seriously injured but remains in hospital.

Mohammed was arrested at the spot and today he was charged with two counts of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and one count of failing to provide a specimen of breath.
The Police are saying this incident was not terrorist related.
