(Sidon) A football match in a refugee camp in Lebanon saw a fistfight disagreement turn deadly when somebody decided to bring a gun to the party.
The Ain el-Hilweh refugee camp is something of a wild west zone as Lebanese Police and Army units are forbidden from entering , thus in such a Petri dish of anarchy, the camp has become a hotbed for all sorts of radical idiots . With such limited options in addressing the situation the Lebanese decided to build a concrete wall around the camp in 2016, resulting (as they always do) cries of racism and such from the most racist bigots going, who would have no problem slitting your throat if they found out you didn't belong to their creed of Islam.
However besides all the allegations of racism, just like a similar wall across the border in Israel, lawlessness in the camp appears to have slowed down with the near completion of the wall.
