Australia: Concerned idiot wants to rename Father’s Day “Special Person’s Day”

(Sydney) In Australia, Social Justice In Early Childhood, a politically active organisation, has started a campaign to have Father's Day renamed 'Special Person's Day'.

Dr Red Ruby Scarlet (yes, that’s her/his real name) is pushing for Father's Day to be renamed so children without fathers aren't offended. However, when she appeared on Australian TV in which to promote her cause of barking at the moon, she admitted that people have objected to her plan to throw common sense out of the window. This has left this village idiot wondering why the idea is so controversial.
