A commander of the Taliban identified as Omran has been killed along with
his 27 fighters during an operation in southern Helmand province. According to
a statement by MoD, the operations were conducted in Greshk district of Helmand
and some weapons and explosives belonging to the militants were also destroyed.The
statement by MoD further added that five militants were killed in a separate
operation in Sar-e-Hawza district of southeastern Paktika province.
