At least 28 people were killed and dozens injured Tuesday when
a RPG hit an armoury in the Libyan capital of Tripoli.
Armed militia intending to loot shops descended on the district
of Garabulli however they faced resistance from locals. Militants saw the local population blocking the roads and
moving toward an armoury to arm themselves. One of the militants then launched a rocket-propelled grenade
at the armoury, which belonged to Libya’s National Forces Alliance (NFA), a political
bloc that supports the country’s UN-backed unity government. The rest is death
and destruction during the Islamic holy month of …Ramadan.
Ramadan death toll is now at 6,952
