(Kabul) Two Taliban suicide bombers have killed at least 27 police
officers and wounded about 40 others in an attack on buses carrying recently
graduated cadets on the western outskirts of Kabul.
Preliminary information indicates that three buses were
attacked as they approached the Afghan capital from neighbouring Wardak
province.
73 Taliban terrorists and were killed and 26 others wounded in
a military operation carried out by security forces in Nuristan province on
Wednesday night, 201 Selab Military Corps said in a statement on Thursday.
The operation was conducted in Kamdish district when dozens
Taliban fighters attacked the security forces' outpost in the area., unfortunately
their intended victims were ready and waiting.
