At least 47 Taliban terrorists were killed while 41 others
wounded during an operation in the restive Uruzgan province in southern
Afghanistan.
At least 23 loyalists of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria
(ISIS) terrorist group were killed in an airstrike in eastern Nangarhar
province of Afghanistan.
Mawlavi Alam a senior Taliban leader was killed in an ambush
of the Afghan National Defence and Security Forces (ANDSF) in western Herat
province of Afghanistan. Alam was the
group’s military commission chief for Badghis province and was killed as he was
travelling to Herat province.
