Kenya Defence Forces killed four terrorists believed to
belong to the Al Shabaab Islamist group during a clash near a military camp in
Lamu County in the country's east. A soldier was also wounded.
Alongside the bodies troops recovered a rocket-propelled
grenade, two hand grenades, four AK47 rifles and an improvised explosive
device.
In a separate incident in the coastal resort of Malindi,
police killed a suspected al Shabaab member and arrested two of his
accomplices.
