Turkey: Pocket dictator for life plays the Jew card... again

(Ankara) Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has compared Israel's policies against the Palestinians to the racism of the early days of the United States and the apartheid-era in South Africa.
"What's the difference between the present acts of the Israeli administration and the racist and discriminatory politics that were practised against black people in the past in America - and up until a short time ago in South Africa."
Erdogan also criticised Israel over the current legislation which intends to ban the Islamic calls to worship via loudspeakers between 11pm and 7am.

Not content with the above, he upped the ante against Israel by demanding that more Muslims should visit Jerusalem in support of Palestinians.
"We, as Muslims, should be visiting Al-Quds [Jerusalem] more often."
The shortarse also took the time to have a go at the US with a caution that the US does not to move its embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. Such a move is "extremely wrong" and such talk should be abandoned, he said.

How strange to see a dictator for life playing the human rights card in which to bolster his own standing within the Islamic world.
