Ramadan Death Count: Syria, 28/05/17

(Jaroud) Clashes in Western Qalamoun region of Syria bordering Lebanon between  Islamic State and the Jabhat Fatah al-Sham terrorist group , has seen at least 22 terrorists killed in the past 24 hours

In Daraa province 3 citizens were killed, including 2 faction fighters who were killed by an IED explosion in a car on the road between the towns of Western Al-Gharya and Sayda.

In Hama province a boy from Latmin village in the northern countryside of Hama was shot dead by the Turkish Border Guards during his attempt to cross to the Turkish side from the countryside of Idlib.

In Al-Raqqah province a man was shot dead by a sniper bullet in Hunaida village on the southern banks of the Euphrates River in the western countryside of Al-Raqqah.

In Aleppo province a man was shot dead by unknown gunmen on a checkpoint of the rebel factions in Kafrkalbin village in the northern countryside of Aleppo.

In Rif Damascus province a man from KafrBatna town died under torture in the Syrian security detentions.

A member of the “Islamic State” organization was killed in shelling and clashes against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them in the vicinity of Deir Ezzor airbase, while a fighter of the rebel factions was killed by a sniper shot by the “Islamic State” organization in the southern outskirts of the capital.

 5 fighters of Syria Democratic Forces were killed in explosions, shelling and clashes against the “Islamic State” organization in the countryside of Al-Raqqah and several other areas.

8 members of the “Islamic State” organization were killed in shelling and clashes against “Euphrates Wrath” Operation Forces in the countryside of Al-Raqqah.

6 members of the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them were killed in shelling and clashes against the “Islamic State” organization and in targeting in the northern countryside of Hama.


11 fighters of the “Islamic State” organization and the Islamic factions of non-Syrian nationalities are killed in clashes.

Ramadan death toll now stands at 290.
