(Berlin) A week after the suicide bomb attack at a pop concert in the UK which murdered 22 people, the German police have today arrested a 17-year-old Syrian refugee on charges that he was planning to carry out a suicide attack in the German capital.
The suspect, who sought asylum in Germany in 2015, was arrested in the Uckermark, a district in Brandenburg, the state's Interior Minister, Karl Heinz Schröter, announced. Apparently, he was flagged up when he sent a WhatApp message to his mother.
