(India) Two Pakistani terrorists who carried out a grenade attack on a police station in Sopore on Wednesday afternoon resulting in injuries to 4 policemen have been hunted down and killed by the Indian Army's 22 Rashtriya Rifles (RR), CRPF's 177 and 179 Battalions in Sopore's Mir Mohalla.
The Indian Army on Thursday killed five Pakistani soldiers in retaliatory action taken after Pakistan had resorted to mortar shelling and firing on forward posts along the LoC in Nowshera sector in Rajouri district and Krishnagati sector of Poonch early on Thursday morning. The assault had claimed the life of a GREF labourer, while two BSF jawans were wounded.
