Iraq: Another Iranian PMU militia leader taken out

(Baghdad) Whilst the media waxes lyrical about the assassination of Iranian General Qasem Soleimani, what they have failed to mention is that the Popular Mobilization Units  (PMU) an organisation composed of some 40 militias that are mostly Shia Muslim groups, predominantly Iranian leaning , and used by Iran in which to insert its influence into Iraqi politics  has since that air-strike suffered something of a decapitation of its senior leaders. Along with Soleimani was killed the deputy leader of the PMU in Iraq  Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, PMU and PR head Mohammed Redha al-Jabri.

At the same time as the air strike on the above US special forces sneaked in and took into custody Qais Khazali, leader of PMU group Asa'ib Ahl al-Haq & Hadi al-Amiri, former head of IRGC's Badr Organization in Baghdad.

A day later a missile strike by the US saw several PMU leaders taken out including Shibl al-Zaydi, secretary general of IRGC backed Kata'ib al-Imam Ali

And so it is that this evening it has been reported that unknown gunmen have killed Taleb Abbas Ali al-Saedi the leader of the PMU special forces unit the Karbala Brigades, along with a couple of his mates. Its as if somebody is cutting off the many heads of the Iranian beast inside Iraq.
