US: Outrage over how 4 out of 6 gang rapists walk free from court with probation.

(Colorado) A family in Colorado is outraged after four out of 5 men, who were accused of gang-raping a 13-year-old girl were only sentenced to probation. The fifth 21-year-old Jacolby Williams was tried and, on Monday, convicted. He was found guilty on two counts of sexual assault and could spend the rest of his life in prison. He will learn his fate in August.

On Dec. 20, 2016, a 13-year-old girl reported to police that she was raped by several men. The initial investigation led authorities to first identify one suspect. While they were serving an arrest and search warrant on that suspect, they found information connecting five others. Later that day, detectives from the Crimes Against Children Unit and the Tactical Enforcement Unit arrested the additional suspects for the rape, including an unidentified 16-year-old male. After four of the suspects walked away with probation, the victim's mother stated she was unhappy with the plea deal:
"Appalled. I just wish they could have gotten prison time."
The other gang-rape suspects:
Tyron Williams: Sentenced 10 years to life of probation
Tommy Williams: Sentenced 10 years to life of probation
Clarence Williams: Sentences 10 years to life of probation
James Williams: Sentenced to five years of probation
One unidentified 16-year-old: Waiting to be tried or take plea deal

Wow, and I presumed that only in the Uk was the law an ass
