On September 10, the Fars News agency published Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei's fatwa banning women from riding bikes in public spaces.
Naturally, this hasn't gone down well with the fairer sex in Iran and women have taken to the social media in which to post pictures of themselves riding bikes in protest:

"Every Tuesday, give up your car and take your bike."And so many Iranians did just that. The problem was, this included woman, and this new trend wasn't to the liking of Iran's ultraconservatives (who prefer little boys to women) who felt that women on bicycles is contrary to Islam and constitutes "indecent behaviour."
