(CAIRO) -- The Egyptian army killed more than 30 suspected
gunmen on Tuesday night when it launched multiple airstrikes at bunkers of
reportedly used by the Sinai Province group in the northern Sinai Peninsula . Five
airstrikes targeted bunkers of “hardliners” affiliated to Sinai Province -- a
group formerly Ansar Beit al-Maqdis -- near the villages of Beit Amira,
al-Shalaq and al-Lufitat south of the town of Sheikh Zuweid. The airstrikes,
killed 33 gunmen and injured more than 50.
