Muslim shouts ‘Jews, Jews, Jews,’ fires gun near private Jewish school in Baltimore

(ABC2) A man driving a distinctive Toyota fired on a group of three men walking along Old Pimlico Road after shouting “Jews, Jews, Jews" from his driver’s side window, according to a release from Baltimore County police.

The men weren't hurt, although police found a hole in the glass window of Bais Hamedrash and Mesivta of Baltimore, an all-male private school.

The shooter was driving from Green Summit Road when he came across the group in the 6800 block of Old Pimlico Road at about 5:30 p.m.

“As the vehicle came closer, the driver held a weapon outside the car window,” according to a release. “The weapon appeared to be some type of BB or air gun. The driver yelled ‘Jews, Jews, Jews’ at the victims and fired the weapon in their direction.”

Although it is unclear if the victims were of Jewish faith, the shooting falls on the same day as Rosh Hashanah, commonly referred to as the Jewish New Year. Police called the shooting a “bias incident,” in the release.
