Sweden silences documentary tying jihadism, anti-Semitism

Swedish state television refuses to air commissioned documentary after directors refuse to demonize Israel, US.
(INN) Swedish state television channel Sveriges Television (SVT) has decided not to broadcast a documentary showing links between anti-Semitism and radical Islam because it would not be "politically correct."

The Danish news site Berlingske reports that the program, titled Watching the Moon at Night, documents the effect of terrorism on Jews. While the Swedish Film Institute granted directors Bo Persson and Joanna Helander public funding, STV did all it could to twist their message.

Persson claims that SVT project manager Lars Säfström frequently instructed him to demonize Israel and the United States. "He tried to influence the film’s content…For us it was totally unacceptable that he should interfere with the content," he told Berlingske. "It was totally unacceptable for us."

SVT, however, insists that it pulled the plug on Watching the Moon At Night because it did not stand up to proper journalistic standards, and that it was too close to being a polemic essay.

Despite SVT's intransigence, Watching the Moon at Night has already been shown in a number of film festivals and a total of six countries.

Here's food for thought

France has the largest Muslim population in Europe. It has also seen more terrorists attacks than any other country in Europe.

Go figure.

Somali: Soldiers killed by terrorists

(Mogadishu) Officials in southwestern Somalia said two Kenyan soldiers and one Somali soldier were killed Friday when al-Shabab militants ambushed their convoy in the Gedo region.

Regional military officials said the ambush began with a massive roadside explosion which destroyed a Kenyan military vehicle, killing the two Kenyan soldiers and wounding others. Al-Shabab fighters then fired on the convoy and exchanged heavy gunfire with Kenyan and Somali National Army soldiers. The Somali soldier died after being hit in the chest by shrapnel.

Egypt: 2 policemen murdered

(CAIRO) - An Egyptian police officer was shot dead and two others were injured on Saturday morning after gunmen attacked a police vehicle in the town of Tamya in Egypt's Fayoum governorate south of Cairo, while two policemen were shot dead in separate incidents in the Sinai Peninsula.

Egyptian security sources told Ma’an in Cairo that gunmen opened fire at three policemen as they entered a police vehicle. Mahmoud Abd al-Hamid, 35, was killed in the attack, while two others were evacuated to the police hospital in Cairo’s Agouza neighborhood for treatment.

Elsewhere, gunmen belonging to the Islamic State-affiliated Sinai Province group shot dead a police officer Saturday morning in the al-Abour neighborhood in al-Arish in the northern Sinai Peninsula.

Daily News Egypt identified the police officer as Ashraf Motawea based on anonymous local sources, adding that he had been shot dead while walking.

Pakistan: Brother murders sister for honour over her video blogging

(Multan) 26-year-old social media celebrity Fauzia Azeem, aka Qandeel Baloch, has been murdered by her brother because he objected to her social media blogs. Like a true follower of Islam who murdered his own, in which to regain his honour, he then did a runner in which to escape the hand of the law.

Qandeel Baloch shot to fame in conservative Pakistan by simply copying what other girls do in the West with their iPhones. However, as this is Pakistan, it didn’t go down too well. Yet the rank hypocrisy that permeates this country resulted in this vilified girl having hundreds of thousands of followers. The video below, whilst very tame, garnered over 300K views on YouTube. Yet is deemed to be... vulgar. Really?

Strangely enough, whilst so many pillared this girl as something of a spoiled brat, that couldn't be further from the truth. She was forced into a marriage at 17 against her will, and after 18 months she left. In Pakistan, that on its own is a death sentence. In a magazine article she explained herself:
I was 17 years old when my parents forced an uneducated man on me. The abuse I have been through… The kind of torture he has inflicted on me, you can’t even imagine. Why? Because I was cute, I was young. He was older than me. He didn’t trust me. I don’t know why. I couldn't connect with him on an intellectual level. Our ideas were very different. Then I had a child, so I sacrificed. I spent a year and a half with him. I told him I want to study. I want to complete my education, I want to get a job, I want to stand on my own two feet. But he never agreed. My family never supported me. I would say I don’t want to live with him, but they didn't support me. That man tried to throw acid on me. He said ‘I’ll burn your face because you’re so beautiful’. And today the media isn't giving me any credit for speaking about empowerment of women, girl power.

I was 17-18 when I got married. When I was 19 years old… I had a child within one year. Then there were fights, arguments, being violent with me. Then when my family didn't support me, I ran away and found support in Darul Aman (women’s shelter).

After that, I thought now I am capable of doing this on my own. I did a job, I completed my Matric and my Bachelors. I did a marketing job, I worked as a bus hostess, I did a lot of jobs, I struggled a lot. I got out from there. The first thing I did when I got out of Darul Aman was my Matric. Then I did my Bachelors privately, I kept doing it. I did quite few jobs, in Daewoo, in Lever Brothers. Quite a few jobs. Then after a while, I started working in showbiz.

I started from zero. Small fashion shows, small photoshoots. I’ve seen a lot. I’ve seen a lot of things up close. I married my sister off, I gave jahez (dowry) for her wedding, I tried to keep relations going with my family, I bought a house for them in Multan. My parents are settled in Multan, my house is there.
So let's get this right, a young girl, who was married off by her own family, who then didn't want anything to do with her, started out afresh, rebuilt her life, became very successful, she even bought a house for her parents, and yet when she returned home in which to visit her so called sick father, she was murdered by her own, in which to regain their honour, apparently over her latest video:

What a strange and warped society, where killing your own due to other people gossiping is deemed normal.

Nigeria: Hundreds ransack Church saying that Friday is their holyday and not for Christians.

(Niger State) Hundreds of Islamic youths (all men I'd guess) poured out of their local mosque yesterday and descended on the sole church in the region and attacked Christians, braying:
"... that Friday was their day of prayer and that the Church only had right to worship on Sundays."
After they ran out of people to attack, they then set upon the church itself, before soldiers arrived in which to restore the peace.

Rev. Fr. Luka Sylvester Gopep, the Vicar-General of the Diocese confirmed the incident.
“Sometime around 2pm, some Muslim youths in their hundreds left their Mosque after their Friday Jumat prayer and rushed to the Church premises, climbed the wall and destroyed everything in the Church: the windows, the alter, musical instruments, the chapel. “The security man in the church premises was beaten to pulp. Some women who were holding a prayer meeting were chased away. The seminarian who is resident in the premises was also beaten up and chased away.”

  1. Returning to Ankara

ISIS shoots down fighter jet then crucifies dead pilot

(IBT) Islamic State (Isis) militants shot down a fighter plane and then crucified the pilot and placed a model jet above his head. The jihadists say they shot down a jet, believed to have belonged to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad's Syrian air force on Thursday 14 July near the eastern city of Deir ez-Zor, which sits on the Iraqi border.

The Daesh (Isis) mouthpiece, Amaq, released video footage showing the remnants of the downed Mig 23 scattered across a stretch of barren rocky ground in their self-proclaimed caliphate. They claimed that the jet had carried out bombings on IS positions.

The video then showed a dead pilot, still in military uniform and white helmet, then hung him on display in the street — attached to a crucifix. To mock the dead man they hung a model plane above his head with the black IS Tawheed on the rear of the model aircraft.

Coup taking place in Turkey

(Istanbul) Reports are coming in that the Turkish Military (or parts of) have instigated a coup against the Islamic (Justice and Development Party) Government. Elements of the Military have been reported to have taken control of strategic points around the country with tanks and troops on the streets. Airports closed and bridges blocked. The military group has made a statement on national broadcaster TRT, read by an announcer, which said that democratic and secular rule of law had been eroded by the current government. There would be a new constitution, it said. Martial law has been imposed and a curfew declared across country.

Pocket dictator President Tayyip Erdogan is currently out of the country, which possibly was the trigger for the military to make its move. He has spoken to his followers to congregate at public places in which to support him and his Islamist government. Access to Facebook, Twitter and YouTube was restricted in Turkey on Friday, shortly after news broke that the military coup was under way, according to two internet monitoring groups.

Troops have moved on mass to disarm the police. However, some have refused and have taken to fighting back.

UK: 16-year-old Mohammed found guilty of murder

(Derby) Haris Mohammed took umbrage when friends of his mentioned to him that a group of men had stated that a young girl was fit (attractive). So in order to regain his honour he followed the group and stabbed totally innocent 21-year-old Tom Webb, killing him in January of this year.

The trial at Nottingham Crown Court heard Mr Webb had been with two friends in the city centre, buying food and drink from Tesco in St Peter's Street. After they left Tesco, one of his friends made the remark about a young woman walking past being "fit". A friend of the Mohammed overheard the comment and informed him, who then decided to pursue Mr Webb's group.

The group became aware of what can only be described as "an angry mob". Mohammed “set about provoking a fight", but Mr Webb "said expressly that he had no wish to fight 15-year-olds, asking what they were going to do". At which Mohammed replied: "What am I going to do? You don't know who I am?" He drew a knife from a bag hanging around his neck and held it to Mr Webb's throat area, , but Mr Webb pushed the boy back. Other members of the "angry mob" then instigated fighting, and Mr Webb was stabbed in the chest amid this. Mohammed , tried to excuse his killing by saying that Mr Webb has swung a bottle at him. But nobody was buying his lame excuse.

Today in court 16-year-old Haris Mohammed, of Duesbury Close, Allenton, was found guilty of murder. He will be sentenced later.

Interlude: Sound of the Suburbs

With all the bad news which we hear about 24/7, here's something else to hopefully put a smile on your face:

Poster boy for the bBC, Asghar Bukhari ugly tweet on the Nice Attack

(London) Asghar Bukhari is a nasty piece of work whom the bBC simply can't get enough of when they want a token Pakistani to opine about how bad Muslims have it around the world due to the white man (his words not mine). This racist piece of crap has decided to tweet the following after the latest outrage by somebody who subscribes to his bigoted religious outlook:

I wonder if the bBC will sanction him for his latest tweet. Nah, he'll be dragged out soon in which to wind up the non-Muslims in the UK by the bBC very soon. I mean they did minutes after a British soldier was hacked to death in London a few years ago.

France: Many killed after lorry driven into crowd during Bastille Day celebrations; UPDATE: driver identified as Tunisian, shouted "Allah Akbar" before being shot by French Police

(Nice) A heavy goods wagon has been deliberately driven into a crowd of people - who had gathered to watch a Bastille Day fireworks display - on the seafront of the southern city of Nice.  The driver struck at around 11pm just after the fireworks display had finished and people had started to make their way home. Picking a crowded intersection as his start point, he drove approximately 1.3 kilometres through the crowded streets  killing over 84 people and injuring hundreds more. The driver was only stopped when police fired a hail of bullets into the cab killing him. Documents found within the cab point at a 21 year old Tunisian.

The attack came only hours after the French President Francois Hollande stated that the state of emergency imposed after last year's Islamic terrorists attacks in Paris - 13/11/15 - would not be extended beyond 26 July 16.

Philippines: Army kills 11 Islamic terrorists

(Manila) Soldiers killed 11 members of an Islamic guerrilla group on Thursday, an army commander said.

Troops battled rebels of the small but violent Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters for hours on Mindanao island which also saw an 11-year-old girl get caught in crossfire and killed, said Colonel Cirilito Sobejana. "It's very unfortunate," Sobejana told reporters:
"In every war, there's really collateral damage. We cannot yet establish whose side had killed the girl."
Sobejana said army helicopters attacked the rebels with rockets and 19 of them were wounded. On the government side, he said two soldiers were wounded. The largely Christian Philippines has for decades been plagued by insurgencies by Muslim rebels in its southern islands.

Turkey: 3,000 abusers, rapists avoid jail time by marrying their victims

(Ankara) It has been revealed by the Turkish Supreme Court of Appeals that men accused of sexual crimes have been using a loophole in the law in which to stay out of jail. The loophole? Marry the victim.

Yup, in this pure Islamic society, where honour and losing face is everything, it seems that getting your daughter to marry her rapist is far better than having to murder her, in which to regain your honour. Not only that, but your daughter's rapist becomes your favourite son-in-law. Wow, everybody wins, except the victim. But hey, who cares about her rights?

The Turkish daily Milliyet has revealed that up to 3,000 sexual deviants have used this get out of jail card in which to remain free. And this is the country the political elites at the EU are looking at allowing to join them.

Kenya: 7 Policemen murdered by a fellow copper

(NAIROBI ) - The gunman behind the Kapenguria police station attack was killed after almost eight hours’ siege that left at least seven officers dead. It also emerged the gunman is a policeman who was serving at same station. Sources said the officer turned against his colleagues and shot them dead before he was killed by GSU commandos. "In the ensuing clearance and identification, the gunman who was earlier suspected to be an inmate held in the cells, turned out to be a local police officer who for yet unknown reasons, went berserk and grabbed a firearm from the Report Office at about 5am, which he used to attack other officers,” read a statement from the office of the Inspector General of Police.

One of the commandos in the rescue operation was also killed in the siege, witnesses said.

Russian bombers 'strike refugee camp on Jordanian border'

(The Telegraph) Twelve people were killed and dozens injured when warplanes that appeared to be Russian bombed a refugee camp on the Jordanian-Syrian border on Tuesday, Syrian rebels have said.

If confirmed, the attack would be the first time Russia’s airforce has bombed so close to the Jordanian border since Vladimir Putin launched a military intervention in September 2015.

The strikes, carried out by a number of aircraft, reportedly hit a refugee camp near the Hadalat border crossing on Tuesday.

A senior Western diplomat confirmed the incident and said several Russian jets appeared to have conducted the raids, Reuters reported.

The Russian ministry of defence had not commented on the claims as of Wednesday lunchtime.

Humanitarian workers in Jordan said they believed women and children had been killed in the bombing but that it was difficult to confirm as they were unable to access the makeshift camp inside Syria.

The targeted camp near the Hadalat crossing houses thousands of Syrians as they wait in the searing desert heat in the hope of being allowed into Jordan.

36 killed as Muslims riot in Kashmir over the death of a terrorist in a gun fight

(India) On Saturday, the Indian Army got into a gunfight with Burhan Wani, the leader of Kashmir's largest terrorist group, Hizbul Mujahideen. Unfortunately for him, he lost big style. Yesterday, he was buried and the region erupted in violence as angry youths took to the streets in which to protest how Wani couldn't shoot as good as he talked. So far, 36 people have been killed, including a policeman whose car was pushed into a river, simply because he was a policeman.

So what is the problem with Kashmir? In 1947, when India was broken up in which to form Pakistan, the region of Kashmir opted to remain with India. Pakistan, not happy with that, invaded and since then has been claiming that Kashmir actually belongs to it, simply as it had a sizeable Muslim population. Since then, the 2 countries have fought 3 wars (all started by Pakistan) in which to sate Pakistan's small dick problem. For years now they have been seeding the Indian population with the POV that life for them would be better as... Pakistani citizens. In fact, whilst Pakistan opines about the lot of Muslims living in Indian Kashmir, the fact remains the half stolen by Pakistan in 1947 has as its biggest export... its people. Yup, that Islamic paradise is going really well in Allah's country... NOT!

Just what is it with Muslims and their inability to live in peace with anybody?

IRAQ SITUATION REPORT: JULY 7-13, 2016

(ISW) The nice people at the Institute for the Study of War have brought out a map which shows the current situation inside Iraq as of this Wednesday.

The most interesting thing reported here is this:

Sadrist Trend leader Muqtada al-Sadr called on July 11 for mass demonstrations on July 15, having returned from Iran after a two-month absence, reportedly on June 29. Sadr reaffirmed demands for technocratic reforms, including a replacement of the three presidencies (Prime Minister, President, and CoR Speaker). Sadr’s mass protest on July 15 will come as Baghdad is still coping with the aftermath of the July 3 Karrada bombing and the security reshuffle in the capital.

It seems the grubby mullahs in Iran can't wait until ISIS is defeated in which to stick their fingers into the rear end of Iraq in which to control the country, just like it controls Hezb-allah.
