Bulgaria: Hezbollah Behind Burgas Bombing

(INN) Bulgarian Foreign Minister Nikolay Mladenov paid an unannounced visit to Israel on Thursday. Mladenov updated Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and President Shimon Peres on Bulgaria’s progress in investigating the terrorist attack in Burgas last year in which five Israelis and one Bulgarian were murdered.

According to Channel 2, the report found the Hizbullah was behind the fatal bombing.

Bulgaria’s Interior Minister, Tsvetan Tsvetanov, is updating European leaders regarding Bulgaria’s findings. The new information means the EU may vote to recognize Hizbullah as a terrorist organization. [Yeah, right. Good luck with that. The EU is enamored with Arab terrorist groups. - ed.]

The report also found that Europol, the EU’s agency for criminal intelligence, successfully identified three of the four suspects in the bombing. All apparently entered Bulgaria two and a half weeks before the attack, using fake identity cards.

The full report will be published in another five days.

The Israeli victims of the Burgas attack were Yitzchak Kolangi, 28, Amir Menashe, 28, Maor Makhluf-Harush, 25, Elior Preis, and Kochava Shriki, 44.
