South Africa: Backtracks on quitting ICC, blames communications error

(Bloemfontein) South Africa is not planning to quit the International Criminal Court (ICC) as suggested earlier by President Cyril Ramaphosa, his office says, citing a communication error from his ruling ANC party. Hours earlier, Ramaphosa had said the African National Congress had decided to withdraw South Africa from the court, which last month issued an arrest warrant against Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“The presidency wishes to clarify that South Africa remains a signatory”

to the ICC, Ramaphosa’s office said on Tuesday in a late-night statement. It said the “clarification follows an error in a comment made during a media briefing held by the governing African National Congress”. The ICC warrant means South Africa – due to host this year’s BRICS summit of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa – would have to detain Putin on arrival.

South Africa: To leave ICC so as avoid having to arrest Putin.

(Bloemfontein) South Africa is part of the 5 nations economic group (Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa) who refer themselves by the acronym BRICS formed by the first letter of each country. In June, South Africa is hosting a BRICS summit and as such it leaves South Africa in a dilemma. You see South Africa  signed up to the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court in 1998 ratified in 2002, became law in 2002 and so if the leader of Russia happens to attend the June summit, it would legally have to enforce the arrest warrant issued for Putin by the ICC over his invasion of the Ukraine. In response South Africa’s president, Cyril Ramaphosa shas stated that he is going to have South Africa leave the ICC. Well I suppose that’s one way to be able to invite Putin for tea.

South Africa: Government issues statement for Israel to depart Gaza, something it did 13 years ago.

(Pretoria) following on from its motion to close links with Israel regards how it defended itself from mass invasion from Gaza. The South African Government today issued a statement calling on the IDF to withdraw from Gaza. The thing is Israel withdrew from Gaza in 2005.

South Africa: 3 Egyptians sought after 3 throats slit at Mosque

(Verulam)  A huge manhunt is underway in South Africa after 3 worshippers had their throats slit during prayers at the local mosque north of the city of Durban today.  Unfortunately 1 man has succumb to his wounds.

Police are currently searching for 3 Egyptians who made their getaway in a car.  

South Africa: New government starts off by subscribing to Land reform policies which ruined Zimbabwe.

(Cape Town) After WW2 African nations found themselves in a far better position than their European masters who due to the war found themselves living in the stone age. Due to the attention needed back home in which to rebuild their countries. The Africans fought for independence and won it from their colonial masters. However instead of building on their independence , the new rulers of each and every African state  subscribed to the mantra of give me what you have or I will kill you, resulting in virtually every African nation descending into the stone age. Those that didn't were pilloried by the Western Liberals, who supported black terrorist groups which in states such as Rhodesia saw the country which was the breadbasket of Africa become Zimbabwe the basket case of Africa. South Africa which became black run in 1991 has managed to escape what has befallen the rest of the continent , however under the rule of President Zuma  (2009-2018) the country started to slide in that direction. His replacement President Cyril Ramaphosa was initially seen as a breath of fresh air, however he has pushed for and won the right of amending the South African constitution to allow landexpropriation without compensation.

In other words white farmers can now be removed from their holding no questions asked. At a stroke, South Africa is going to follow the rest of the continent in becoming a basket case. Yup the black mindset of I want you have , and I will steal it from you has been written into law. What is it about Africa and corruption. No doubt the aid agencies in the west will demand we do something due to colonialism, Imperialism and the like. Me, I'd stop all trade and send back each and every migrant from Africa. They have made their bed, let them lie in it. Maybe in a hundred years they will get the message that good governance and not stealing is the way to run things.

South Africa: To cut diplomatic ties with Israel.

(Pretoria) The new Government in South Africa is taken shape and one of the first things it has decided to do is cut ties with Israel as a show of support with Palestinians.

The motion was set in place by Science and Technology Minister Naledi Pandor who just happens to be a Muslim :

“The majority party has agreed, that government must cut diplomatic ties with Israel, given the absence of genuine initiatives by Israel to secure lasting peace and a viable two-state solution that includes full freedom and democracy for the Palestinian people,”

Ironically all of the above came about after opposition leader Kenneth Meshoe, asked why Israel hadn't been consulted regards the water shortage that Cape Town is currently experiencing.

South Africa: African National Congress asks President Jacob Zuma to resign for the sake of the country.

(Pretoria) Well after almost 10 years of dodging the bullet, the past has finally caught up with President Jacob Zuma. However  South Africa has been plunged into political turmoil when the country's ruling African National Congress announced it had demanded the resignation of President Jacob Zuma -- but t Zuma  has refused to go.

Top ANC officials, including party leader Cyril Ramaphosa, have tried to persuade Zuma to step down in the face of a corruption scandal that has sapped support for the party. But despite hours of talks, Zuma has refused to budge.

The charges against the south President are many and go back years, in fact before he became president he was sacked after Schabir Shaik, his financial adviser, on trial appeared to implicate the deputy president on corruption charges and thus he was sacked by the then President Thabo Mbeki. Then there was that charge of rape, where the victim told him after the evil deed she was HIV positive. Zuma who didn't use protection, simply had a shower. He was found not guilty. Again the media had a field day at his expense:

There are loads more incidents from 2009 (when he became President ) found here. Of late he was found guilty of spending $23 million (£15 million) of the taxpayers money on his own home. He was forced to replay it. The writing was on the wall when in Oct last year when he was told he must face 18 counts of corruption, fraud, racketeering and money laundering relating to the original 1999 arms deal which saw Shaik jailed, and who was released on Medical grounds in 2009 after 2 years in Prison. South Africa: Muslims protest in their thousands, demand Israel ambassador expelled and all Israel ties cut

(Cape Town) South African Muslims took to the streets today in which to protest against the Israeli bogey man. The protesters embarked on a march from the Zinatul Islam mosque in District Six to the Parliament.

The Muslim Judicial Council of South Africa handed over a list demanding that the government cut all diplomatic ties with Israel and expel the Israeli ambassador from the country.

Anybody else is impressed about the priorities of the Islamic world, where hundreds of thousands of Muslims have been (and are being) oppressed and murdered by their fellow Muslims and the biggest problem in the Islamic agenda is the installation of metal detectors (after a terrorist attack which saw two policemen murdered) at a mosque where Mohammed claimed in a dream that he ascended into Heaven (for a chat) on a winged horse? (Mohammed never visited Jerusalem.) Now that worldwide Islamic anger has forced the removal of those metal detectors, they are demanding that security cameras are removed.

South Africa: Troublemaker plays the race card in which to become the victim

(Pretoria) There is a huge outcry going on at the moment at the prestigious Pretoria Girls High, it appears that a number of school girls who couldn't get their way have played the race card in which to become victims. It seems that not happy with the schools hair policy (as below), they have cried foul play and claimed that teachers call them monkeys and tell them to straighten their hair.

Err, it's a private school in a country which has been run by black people for over 22 years. I think you will find any teacher found to be in the wrong would be sacked faster than you can utter 'Black lives matter". When I went to school, there was always a teacher at the bottom of the drive, if you didn't conform to the school's dress code, you were sent home. Now you play the victim card, post a few tweets of a poor oppressed black girl (she goes to a private school in South Africa) and the liberal idiots find another cause to subscribe to:

So, anybody want to point out the racist bits in the schools rules on hair above? Children the world over and throughout time have tried to buck the system. Yes, some have been victims, but as a general rule and definitely in this case, all this is about a child who instead of doing as she was told is playing the victim card. Think I'm making this up about 13-year-old Zulaikha Patel, the child behind this protest? Here is the headline the South Africa Daily Vox has on this story:

A student detailed how a teacher had told her to tie her dreadlocks in a way that would fit into the school’s view of tidyness. The student says she tried to explain that her dreadlocks were too heavy and cut into different lengths so a hairband would not work. Her teacher put her in front of a mirror after class and told her to fix it, the student said.

There is a very good reason why good schools have rules, and Pretoria Girls High is a good school in South Africa. Yet in order to have an easy time, these silly little drama queens are being allowed to play the race card. But what makes this worse is that the parents, local authorities and now the government are sticking their nose into something which can only make South Africa a worse place for everyone.

Just what is it about African leaders and their infinity for corruption.

(South Africa) Jacob Zuma the South African president is under pressure to resign. It seems that having getting caught out spending government money (tothe tune of £11 million) on improving his somewhat palatial home and then refusing a court order to repay the redirected funds has seen him lose lots of support. But then he didn't win himself any support with his address to the country over the above:

 Zuma said his response to a report by public protector Thuli Madonsela ordering him to repay some of the money was “in good faith” but based on unsound legal advice. “I wish to emphasise that I never knowingly or deliberately set out to violate the constitution,”

Whilst that alone would be enough to sink most peoples careers , Zuma has now been hit with another scandal to explain and that is his associationwith the Gupta family who have been accused of exploiting their relationship with the president to choose pliable candidates for top cabinet and business jobs in a scandal that came to light after the country’s respected finance minister, Nhlanhla Nene, was abruptly sacked in December.

The Gupta family emigrated from India in 1993, seeking business opportunities in post-apartheid South Africa, and now preside over a wide range of corporate interests from mining to IT and media. Their close ties to Zuma, whose son sits on the board of at least six Gupta-owned companies, and extravagant lifestyle have drawn criticism before, perhaps most memorably when they used an air force base to fly in guests for a private wedding.

There was a vote in parliament in which to get Zuma to resign, but the ANC  for some very strange reason (Lots of government funding perhaps) kept him in, by getting itsMPs to vote to keep their man in.

The thing is Zuma never has been clean , in fact I wroteabout the crook in 2008 citing lots of examples. But hey I am talking about Africa where robbing the country blind  and blaming the west for the reason why Africans are so poor is written into the DNA of each and every politician 

Jordanian army officer kills 2 Americans, 1 South African, wounds 6 others at Jordanian security training site

AMMAN (Reuters) - A Jordanian army officer shot dead two American military personnel and one South African and wounded six other people on Monday at a U.S.-funded security training facility near Amman, Jordan's government spokesman said.

Mohammad Momani told Reuters that the attacker was shot dead by Jordanian security forces; he did not commit suicide as security forces earlier reported.

A Jordanian security source said the gunman was a senior co-trainer with the rank of captain.

The incident occurred in a facility that mainly trains Iraqi and Palestinian forces on the outskirts of the capital Amman.

It took place on the 10th anniversary of al Qaeda suicide bombings that targeted three Amman luxury hotels and killed dozens of people in the worst militant attack in the history of Jordan, a staunch U.S. ally.

Apartheid in South Africa: Blacks target foreigners

(Pretoria) The blacks of South Africa (SA) rightly fought against the apartheid and in 1994 they consigned that ugly chapter of SA into the bin. For the first 14 years SA presented a shining example to the world of how a multicultural society should be, and since 2008 the place has simply reverted to just another African country riven by tribal power. In this case, the tribe is the Zulu, led by King Goodwill Zwelithini who a fortnight ago said:

Foreigners should 'take their bags and go'. 'We must deal with our own lice' and then complained about foreign-owned shops:

This was seen by a lot of South Africans as the green light to murder death kill and stock up from the shop you've just looted, while the Zulu king is now saying his words were taken out of context. A large number of people agree with him, including the son of President Zuma:

“We need to be aware that as a country we are sitting on a ticking time bomb of them [foreigners] taking over the country.

Anyway, the latest from SA is that gangs of black Africans are attacking foreigners for living in the country. Yes, angry at how they are still living in shitty conditions, the locals have taken a leaf out of the Apartheid era and decided that those who are not South African are the reason why they are poor and deserve to be shown their place. Which has resulted in them attacking foreign run shops and looting them. After 2 weeks of attacks and looting (and a number of deaths), the government has decided to do something and sent in the police to protect foreign nationals, they have also opened up patrolled refugee camps across the country for displaced foreigners which, as of Friday morning, numbered 8,000:

Other African countries have started repatriating their citizens out of South Africa.

Now THAT'S Funny: Racist BDS Activists Try to Put Pig’s Head in Kosher Food, Put it in Halal Instead

(FPM) It’s not anti-Semitism. It’s anti-Zionism. No wait, it’s still anti-Semitism.

The Communist ANC was always anti-Semitic despite the presence of Jews within its ranks, but that had never stopped the actual Communist Party in the USSR. Lately its level of anti-Semitism has gotten a bit much.

A concert at the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits) in South Africa featuring Israeli saxophonist Daniel Zamir turned ugly Wednesday night when members of the anti-Israel Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) group began to sing, “dubula e juda” (“shoot the Jew”) as concert attendees were entering the music hall

The SA Jewish Board of Deputies wrote a letter to the African National Congress on Sunday to act against hate speech on a Twitter account that was believed to belong to the ANC Youth League.

“We were appalled to learn that earlier that day (Sunday) via a Twitter site presumably used by the ANCYL, namely @ANCYLVote2014, a message calling for the killing of Jews was tweeted,” the board said in its letter.

And it keeps on getting more blatant, even by the standards of the blatantly racist BDS movement.

The Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) campaign against Israel took another step into open antisemitism today when student activists in South Africa placed the severed head of a pig in the kosher meat section of a Woolworths store in Cape Town. The shocking gesture was aimed, the perpetrators said, at preventing “people who will not eat pork to pretend that they are eating clean meat, when it is sold by hands dripping with the blood of Palestinian children.”

Just to get that blood libel in there… in case it was a little too ambiguous. BDS South Africa retweeted this, but then claimed that it isn’t responsible.

But the telling tell is all the way at the end.

It is unacceptable that people, especially those who claim to believe in God to buy products from supporters of Israel. We will not allow people who will not eat pork, to pretend that they are eating clean meat, when it is sold by hands dripping with the blood of Palestinian children. Woolworths is NOT Kosher. We cannot allow food like this to be called halaal or Kosher. It is dirty food – the dirtiest food. We have placed the pigs head in Woolworths to show these people of God that Woolworths is Haraam and it is not Kosher.

Haraam is a Muslim Arabic term. So we’ve got someone who is Muslim or Muslim influenced placing a pig’s head. That’s the sort of thing Muslims claim is a hate crime when done to them.

But apparently they’re fine handling pigs when doing it to others. Except being racist idiots, they did it to themselves.

A Woolworths representative confirmed that the incident had occurred but clarified that while the tweets allege that the pig’s head was placed in the kosher section of the store, the area depicted in the tweets is in fact the halaal food section.

Genius.

According to the Congress of South African Students though, “We are not being bombastic when we say will bring the supporters of Israel pigs – we are being revolutionary.”

I think they’re being literal. Literal bigots.
