(N'Djamena) On Friday
at the main airport in CHAD a SU 25Frogfoot ground attack aircraft had a
little mishap when a missile was launched whilst it was parked up on the runway
in front of a French C130 Hercules aircraft, by two strokes of luck the missile
was diverted from hitting the Herc after it passed through an empty fuel truck,
unfortunately the diverted missile ended
up hitting a house killing 4 people (2 adults and 2 children) as well as injuring 2 others.

(N'Djamena) So whilst the world hankers down regards the
latest virus to have come out of China , resulting in as much as 20% of the world’s
population told to stay indoors. The islamist idiots in Africa have decided that
as everybody has been told not to go out, they will go to them and so in Chad ,
Boko Haram the so called peaceful bunch of Islamist jihadists who preach on a
platform of no western education but for
some very strange reason tend to attack Mosques and the homes of Muslims struck
a CHAD army base situated on an Island on Lake CHAD, before doing so they
secured all points of ingress and so when reinforcements arrived they too were
taken out.
Whilst the military, where trying to sort their act out, the jihadists decided to leave by speedboat. Gee who would have thought to have used boats in which to attack an Island.
(N'Djamena) I mentioned over the weekend how the French air-force had carried out an airstrike on a convoy ofthe Military Command Council for the Salvation of the
Republic (CCMSR) that was heading towards the capital of Chad from Libya, in which to overthrow the government. Well apparently they didn't that good a job and so they had to carry out another strike yesterday and today taking out 20 of 50 vehicles in the convoy.
(N'Djamena) In a scene reminiscent from the 1980s when
French defended Chad from an invasion from Libya, French fighter jets struck a
convoy of armed men who had advanced into Chad from Libya. The convoy had been
spotted by the Chad military and they had carried out airstrikes on it to no
avail. So they asked the French for help. Two fighter jets from the French Operation
Barkhane counter-terrorism force were deployed to have a look and their initial
slow low level flyby over the advancing convoy apparently didn’t deter this
armed force from turning around and returning 400 miles back into Libya. So the
gloves were taken off and a couple of strikes by French Mirage 2000D put paid
to the latest attempt to invade CHAD from the North.
Military Command Council for the Wellbeing of the Republic
(CCMSR) is an armed rebel group in the north of Chad. CCMSR’s goals is the
overthrow of the government of President Déby that it considers unjust,
oppressive and non-caring for its people.
(Aguelhoc) Hours before Chad and Israel renewed diplomatic ties, Islamic terrorists struck a UN base in the north of Mali manned by Chadian
UN troops, killing 8 and injuring 7. The attack happened early Sunday at the
Aguelhok base 200 kilometres (125 miles) north of Kidal and towards the border
with Algeria
You'd think that any military commander based in a country beset with Islamic terrorists whose own country was smoking the pipe of peace with Israel would have increased security if only for a short while, because as the world has seen time and time again, these blood thirsty idiots who work out of Alis snack bar, require the least excuse going in which to go out on a murderous killing spree, whilst foaming at the mouth.
Hey, did you hear that Islam is the Religion of Peace™?
N’DJAMENA, Chad (AP) — Two groups of suicide bombers targeted a busy market and a refugee camp in Chad on Saturday, killing at least 38 people and wounding 51 in what appeared to be coordinated attacks, officials said.
Authorities suspect the extremist Boko Haram group from neighboring Nigeria staged the attacks in the western village of Baga Sola, said military spokesman Col. Azem Agouna Bermandoua, who called it a triple bombing.
A group of female suicide bombers hit the market in Baga Sola when it was at its busiest Saturday, killing at least 16 people, said director general of Chad’s gendarmerie, Gen. Banyaman Cossingar. A second group of suicide bombers killed at least 22 people at the nearby refugee camp, he said.
Niamey (AFP) - Boko Haram launched its first major attack in Niger on Friday, triggering a forceful response from regional troops who claimed to have killed more than a hundred of the Islamists.
The clashes in Bosso and Diffa, along the border with Nigeria, marked yet another expansion of violence attributed to Boko Haram, but it seemed to have come at a heavy cost.
Niger's defence minister reported that 109 of the Islamists were killed, along with four soldiers and a civilian. Seventeen other troops were wounded.
Chadian forces, who have taken a lead role in battling Boko Haram in recent days, fought alongside Niger troops on Friday. Its commander in Niger, General Yaya Daoud, was also wounded with a gunshot to the stomach, a security source said.
Niger Defence Minister Mahamadou Karidjo said calm had been restored to both areas.
N'DJAMENA (Reuters) - Chad's army killed more than 200 militants from Boko Haram on Tuesday in fighting in northeastern Nigeria, with nine of its own forces killed, the army and state television said on Wednesday.
Chad has deployed 2,500 troops as part of a regional effort to take on the militant group, which has been fighting for five years to create an Islamist emirate in northern Nigeria. An estimated 10,000 people died in the region last year.
Chad's army destroyed more than a dozen vehicles equipped with heavy weapons and some 100 motorcycles used by the militants in battles in the towns of Gambaru and Ngala, the army high command said in a statement on Wednesday.
There was no independent confirmation of its claim.
Militants also attacked the town of Fotokol in Cameroon on Wednesday in the latest cross-border incursion by the group, which operates near Nigeria's frontiers with Niger, Chad and Cameroon.
The fighters attacked at around 5 a.m. (0400 GMT) after Chadian troops who were temporarily based there crossed over to Gambaru on Tuesday, according to a Cameroonian military officer close to the operation and a Cameroon military source.
"The insurgents have been driven out. They tried to surprise us because the Chadian troops who were in Fotokol had crossed over to Nigeria," Cameroonian Information Minister Issa Tchiroma told Reuters by telephone.
The attack provoked intense fighting and six Cameroonian soldiers were killed, said the Cameroonian officer, who declined to be identified. He said that forces in the town had called for reinforcements and the fighting had now subsided.
