Orthodox Jews Rally in Manhattan Against Forced Conscription into Israeli Army

(US) America's Orthodox Jewish community staged a demonstration Monday, 11th July, in front of the Israeli Consulate in Manhattan, to protest against the State of Israel's forced drafting of religious young men into their army.

The demonstration was organized by Rabbinical Alliance of the United States and Canada. More than 1000 people from various communities in New York and New Jersey attended, some coming from as far as two or three hours away. Over 100 leading prominent rabbis were seated on the platform. Many speeches were given, including two by rabbis from Jerusalem.

You know what, I simply can't get my head around the Orthodox Jewish community, they bitch more about their own than they do about the people who want them dead. During the Yom Kippur war, they actually threw stones at soldiers called up to defend the state of Israel. Not only that, but these racist bigots still think it is their religious duty to throw stones on Yom Kippur.

Whenever I hear about these idiots, all I can think of is the "People's Front of Judea", from the film "The life of Brian":

Jewish Zealot in court for murdering a Teenager at Gay pride

(Jerusalem) Today Yishai Schlissel an ultra orthodox jew was found guilty of murder when he decided to run amok with a long bladed knife at last years Gay Pride where he stabbed several people murdering 16 year old Shira Banki.

What makes this story even more disturbing is this long haired bigot had only been released from prison weeks before after serving a sentence for stabbing people at the 2005 ...Gay pride. What is it about religious zealots who feel that they must enforce their beliefs onto others. If only they took their cue from history (life of Brian actually) the world would be a much better place.

Jewish man who spoke out against Israel at Gaza rally forced to flee after attacks on his person and home

(Salford) A Jewish Orthodox man who felt obliged to speak out against Israel in its conflict with Gaza has had to flee his home in England after a 30 strong gang of Jewish thugs decided to give him a hard time for being a traitor... It appears that the local Jewish community decided to show this man that if he hates Jews so much, then he should move in with his new friends.

Which is why all the downstairs windows at his house in Curzon Road, Higher Broughton, Salford, were smashed, eggs thrown at the property and graffiti daubed on the door and window sill. The victim’s car was sprayed with red paint and he was given a good kicking for his troubles.

One neighbour reported:

“I have lived here for many years and I have never known a situation where the Jewish community turned on each other.”

Isn't it ugly when people of the same faith set upon each other?

Jewish Taliban kicked out of Guatemalan town

(Guatemala) Lev Taho, an extreme ultra Orthodox group, which in search of the promised land, usually by running away from the law in the last one, is on the move again. Set up during the 80s by Israeli citizen Shlomo Helbrans aka Erez Shlomo Elbarnes, he moved his fledgling purity group (known in Israel as the Jewish Taliban) from Israel to the US, which he claims was due to his anti-Zionist views (what is it with Jews and self loathing?).

He was jailed in 1994 (kidnapping a minor), and on his release in 2000 he was deported to Israel. However, he moved West again in 2003, but this time he relocated to Canada and claimed asylum on the grounds of religious persecution in Israel. Well, that lasted until 2011 when the Canadian authorities started asking question about why the Lev Taho community home schooling regime wasn't complying with Canadian standards. This came to a head in March of this year when, seeking refuge from allegations of child abuse, the Group moved to Guatemala.

Well, a few months down the line and the locals have said enough is enough and virtually forced the group out from their new home in the village of San Juan La Laguna due to their inability to mix with the locals and their so called arrogant attitude. The group is currently living in Guatemala City.
