Tunisia: Bans full-face coverings in public institutions

(Tunis)  So after a rise in Islamic terrorism which has culminated in a number of suicide bombings the Tunisian Prime Minister Youssef Chahed signed a government order Friday that prohibits anyone wearing a niqab, which covers everything but the eyes, from accessing public offices.

I have to laugh, here is an Islamic country which has taken such steps due to security concerns , steps I should add to combat a fairly recent adoption of such politicized wear after the Arab spring which started in Tunisia  saw the country the first to remove it leader and his secular ways. Meanwhile in the West Islamic women (supported by the UN) demand the right to cover up claiming it is a basic human right. Is it bollocks and I'm from an Islamic family saying that. Its an oppressive tool used by religious bigots in which to control the fairer sex.

Tunisia: Women now allowed to marry non-Muslim men

(Tunis) Tunisia today signed a measure cancelling a provision dating back to November 5, 1973, which banned Tunisian women from marrying non-Muslim men. This was one of the last measures stemming from Islamic law that went against the gender equality of citizens, such marriages were only possible if the man converted to Islam in front of a Mufti of the republic, which provided a certificate to be presented to civil authorities. However Christian or Jewish women were allowed to marry a Muslim.

The justice ministry came to the conclusion that the 1973 legislation went against articles 201 and 41 of the Tunisian Constitution and international agreements signed by Tunisia and thus has changed the law for the better. Tunisian women will now be allowed to marry men regardless of their religion.

Tunisia: People protest for the right not to fast during Ramadan

(Tunis) As you may have gathered, the Islamic world is in the middle of Ramadan, that self imposed act of taking a month out from day to day living in which to take reflection on what really is important to you - life. The thing is, whilst there is no compulsion to partake in Ramadan, in each and every Islamic country going, if you don't, is it frowned upon. Not only that, but in a large number you will be punished. Well, for a number of people in Tunisia, this isn't on. So, today they held a protest in which to demand the right in which not to fast.

A protester in Tunis openly smokes a cigarette and holds a placard reading in French "Why does it bother you if you fast and I eat?" during Ramadan

Dozens of Tunisians demonstrated Sunday to demand the right to eat and drink in public during the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan and to protest against non-fasters being arrested. There is no law against eating or drinking in public during Ramadan, but every year the issue comes to the fore in the North African country. Tunisia's constitution guarantees "freedom of belief and conscience", but the state is also the "guardian of religion". Following a call by the "Mouch Bessif" (Arabic for "Not against our will") group, protesters in central Tunis shouted that "Individual freedom is guaranteed by the constitution!" One man openly smoking a cigarette -- this is also deemed unacceptable during Ramadan daylight hours -- held a placard in French that asked: "Why does it bother you if you fast and I eat?" Demonstrators also protested against the arrest of people who were not fasting. At the beginning of June, four men were sentenced to a month in jail for "public indecency" after eating outside during daylight. demonstrator Karim Chair told AFP.
"We're protesting about lawsuits against non-fasters... Whoever wants to fast can fast, but whoever doesn't want to shouldn't have to."

Tunisia: 2 Terrorists planning to murder, death, kill over Ramadan killed by Police.

(Tunis) It has never failed to amaze me how the followers of a so called 'Religion of Peace' (ROP™)

are so bloody violent. What is even more amazing is how with so many Islamic (yes Islamic) terrorist groups around the world  doing their best in which to spoil everybody else's day, that liberals the world over, continue to parrot that peaceful POV.  Well if you have just landed on the Planet, the one thing you have to know is that the followers of the ROP™ like to murder, death kill on their holy days, which is why friday (The Islamic holyday) often sees a spike in terrorist related deaths. Then there's Ramadan , the so called Islamic holy month, (3 weeks time) where Muslims have to think nice thoughts, abstain from food, sex and are supposed to be nice to each other. Yet  as you can see from the sidebar to the right, caution gets thrown out of the window when it comes to killing somebody.

In the town of Sidi Bouzid, Tunisia, Police after a number of weeks of surveillance decided to knock on the doors of a couple of Islamic terrorist cells (One ISIS and the other Al Q) who were planning to do their very best in which to spoil the Ramadan holidays for a large number of people in country.
In the process, 2 terrorists were killed, 3 more arrested and the police have issued arrest warrants for a lot more. Of the 2 killed one was a commander with the ISIs and AQIM-linked group Okba Ibn Nafaa,  who blew himself up after he was hit The other terrorist  killed was also wearing an explosives belt, but was shot dead before he could detonate it.

Tunisia; Hamas drone expert shot dead

(Tunis) Mohammed Zawahri came to very sticky end on Thursday when somebody decided to shoot him 20 times as he sat in his car in the south of Tunisa.

Whilst nobody knows exactly who decided to pull the trigger on this murderous bastard, naturally the lefts favourite terrorist outfit ‘Hamas’  have pointed the finger of blame at Israel when they admitted this world renowned expert on drone technology (Trained in the finest universities in Iran I hear) belonged to their military wing and declared a day of mourning over the death of Mohammed.

I have to admit, I have to laugh at how Tunisia’s EnnahdaIslamist party is claiming that this single killing has endangered the country’s stability.  Whilst the 3 terrorist attacks carried out last year claiming 73 innocent lives and injuring over 100 more didn't. Yup trust the religious bigots in the country to only shed tears when one of their own gets slotted.  In respect for this so called expert on UAV technology I dedicate a song to his honour.

2 Michigan brothers who converted from Christianity to Islam were arrested in Tunisia as members of a terrorist organization

TUNIS, Tunisia (NBC) — Two American brothers have been arrested in Tunisia on suspicion of belonging to a terrorist organization, two local sources told NBC News.

A senior police official said the brothers were both aged in their 30s and originally from Michigan. A source in the governor's office also confirmed the arrests.

Speaking on condition of anonymity, the police source said one of the men was carrying a U.S. passport that identified him as Patrick Alan Lawwill. NBC News has seen a photocopy of the passport, which was apparently issued in July 2015 and lists Lawwill's place of birth as Michigan.

Police were not able to provide a copy of the second suspect's documents.

A State Department official said it was aware of reports the pair had been arrested "on suspicion of terrorist activities" but declined to comment further because of "privacy considerations."

The brothers were arrested in the northwestern city of Jendouba on Tuesday, according to the local police source.

The pair had recently converted from Christianity to Islam and one of them was married to a Tunisian woman who was also arrested, the source said.

The brothers, who both wore beards and traditional clothing, were reported to authorities by locals who said they were "behaving suspiciously," the source added.

Another official in the local governor's office, also speaking anonymously, told NBC News that the pair came to study in the University of Jendouba two weeks ago.

Officials who raided the encampment where they were staying found material relating to hardline Islamic law and jihad, according to the governor's office source.

They did not find any plans to make explosives, that source added.
