(Buenos Aires) Currently the liberal world and their Islamic masters are celebrating about how Argentina has done the right thing by cancelling their forthcoming friendly football match with Israel. Yet for some strange reason whilst all the major media outlets are reporting this as a win for moral righteousness, not one has reported the real reason why. Here is what is being reported in Argentina:
“Since they announced they would play against Israel, different terror groups have been sending messages and letters to players on the Argentina national team and their relatives, including clear threats to hurt them and on the lives of their families,” Regev said. “These included video clips showing dead children.”
(National Post) Children from a German school in Buenos Aires wearing swastika armbands and fake Hitler moustaches attacked Jewish pupils in a resort where several Nazi war criminals lived after the Second World War, including Dr. Josef Mengele, Auschwitz’s “Angel of Death.”
The incident drew swift condemnation of the pupils and the parents accompanying them during the school’s end-of-course trip to San Carlos de Bariloche, in the Andes.
The town became a haven for Nazis fleeing Europe after the war. They were welcomed by the Peronist regime.
According to witnesses, pupils from the Lanus German School arrived at a party in a nightclub dressed as Nazis.
“Some of them were in leathers with swastikas painted on their chests and backs,” Dan, one of the students from a Jewish school who was attacked, told Argentina’s TN television channel.
“We wanted them to be thrown out of the club but they shouted ’f–– Jews’ at us and proudly showed off their symbols.”
When bouncers at the club refused to eject the pupils in fancy dress, there was a “confrontation” which turned into a fight, he said.
The boys dressed as Nazis were finally thrown out.
Silvia Fazio, the principal of the Lanus German School, apologized, saying the incident was “absolutely indefensible” and that the children involved would be punished.
“They will have to make some act of atonement for the damage caused,” said Fazio, starting with a visit to Buenos Aires’ Holocaust museum alongside students from the Jewish school. “There is much to reflect on,” she added.
She stressed that the trip to San Carlos de Bariloche was not organized by the school, but arranged privately. “There were many adults who made mistakes, such as the parents who were with the children, the trip coordinators [and] the club staff.”
However, Ariel Cohen Sabban, president of the Argentinian Delegation of Israelite Associations, said: “We think the real root of the problem is in what goes on at the institution these boys attend, because these kind of attitudes must be prevented by educational means.
“This is not a joke or a laugh. These symbols reflect an ideology that culminated in the Nazis’ assassination of six million Jews.”
He said if the boys involved are aged 16 or over, they could face prosecution for using Nazi symbols and propagating theories of racial superiority.
Adrian Moscovich, executive director of Buenos Aires’s ORT school whose pupils were victims in the attack, said the incident underlined the importance of continuing to teach children about the Holocaust and other crimes against humanity.
He said that “reflecting on these facts is a vital exercise in order to understand the present and build a future in which democratic and pluralist values are consolidated”.
(HNGN) Argentine President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner claimed Monday afternoon at the United Nations General Assembly in New York City that in 2010, the Obama administration tried to convince the Argentinians "to provide the Islamic Republic of Iran with nuclear fuel," reported Mediaite.
Kirchner said that two years into Obama's first term, his administration sent Gary Samore, former White House Coordinator for Arms Control and Weapons of Mass Destruction, to Argentina to persuade the nation to provide Iran with nuclear fuel, which is a key component of nuclear weapons.
Kirchner's full remarks are as follows, per the Argentine president's official website:
"In 2010 we were visited in Argentina by Gary Samore, at that time the White House's top advisor in nuclear issues. He came to see us in Argentina with a mission, with an objective: under the control of IAEA, the international organization in the field of weapons control and nuclear regulation, Argentina had supplied in the year 1987, during the first democratic government, the nuclear fuel for the reactor known as "Teheran". Gary Samore had explained to our Minister of Foreign Affairs, Héctor Timerman, that negotiations were underway for the Islamic Republic of Iran to cease with its uranium enrichment activities or to do it to a lesser extent but Iran claimed that it needed to enrich this Teheran nuclear reactor and this was hindering negotiations. They came to ask us, Argentines, to provide the Islamic Republic of Iran with nuclear fuel. Rohani was not in office yet. It was Ahmadinejad's administration and negotiations had already started."
The allegations are troubling in that they come after the Obama administration and five other world powers recently signed a nuclear deal with Iran that aims to limit Tehran's ability to develop nuclear weapons. At the core of the agreement are restrictions on the amount of nuclear fuel that Iran can keep for the next 15 years – restrictions that would force Iran to reduce its stockpile of uranium by 98 percent, according to The New York Times. It's not clear why the U.S. would be attempting to secretly enable Iran to enrich nuclear fuel just five years ago.
Kirchner went on to say at the U.N. that when Samore was asked to provide the request in writing, all communications immediately ceased and Samore disappeared.
Kirchner continued: "...Argentina's contribution to this negotiation process...was impossible. [However] The Minister of Foreign Affairs came to see me in my office, and I remember this very clearly, and I said that if this request were made in writing and signed, we could, after all, cooperate."
BUENOS AIRES (Reuters) - An Argentine prosecutor found dead in mysterious circumstances last month had drafted a request that President Cristina Fernandez be arrested for conspiring to derail his probe into the deadly bombing of a Jewish center, the investigator into his death said on Tuesday.
The papers were found in the trash at Alberto Nisman's apartment while his property was being scoured for clues over whether the father-of-two committed suicide or was murdered.
He was found in a pool of blood with a single bullet to the head on Jan. 18.
"The drafts are in the file," Viviana Fein, the lead investigator into Nisman's death, told a local radio station.
The request for Fernandez's arrest, which the prominent pro-opposition daily newspaper Clarin said Nisman drafted in June, was not included in his final 350-page submission to the judiciary delivered days before his death. Instead Nisman called for Fernandez to face questions in court.
On Monday, Fein's office had denied the existence of the document containing the arrest request and the government denounced a Clarin story about it as "garbage".
Cabinet Chief Jorge Capitanich even dramatically tore up a copy of the paper in his daily news briefing. But on Tuesday, Fein backtracked, saying there had been a misunderstanding between her and her office, and the documents did exist.
"They are properly incorporated into the case file, nothing is missing," Fein said of the papers on Tuesday.
Nisman spent almost a decade building up a case that Iran was behind the 1994 attack on the Argentine Israelite Mutual Association (AMIA) that killed 85 people. Iran's government has repeatedly denied the allegation.
Nisman had been due the day after his death to answer questions in Congress about his allegations that Fernandez sought to cover up Iran's involvement in return for Iranian oil. Fernandez has called the claim "absurd".
Argentine judges are proving reluctant to take on a case some are calling a "judicial hot potato". Two judges turned down hearing the case on Monday, including one who is already presiding over separate charges of attempts to derail the investigation into the 1994 bombing.
The other cover-up charges involve ex-President Carlos Menem, who ruled the South American country from 1989 to 1999.
Fernandez, who had come under fierce criticism for her handling of Nisman's death, is currently on a trip to China.
