(London) Police in
London have arrested 55 year old Nigerian senator Nwanneka Ekweremadu and his wife as they
attempted to attempted to board a plane to Turkey where they hoped to traffic a 15 year old homeless boy from Nigeria in
which to harvest his organs to give to their daughter whose kidneys have
failed. The 15-year-old victim has been taken into care.
Ekweremadu and his wife, have been charged with conspiracy to arrange or facilitate travel of another person with a view to exploitation, namely organ harvesting. Bail has been denied and both have been remanded into custody until the 7th July.
