Turkey: Germans upset the Turks with magazine cover

(Ankara) Turkey has bitched about German news magazine Der Spiegel for a special edition that calls President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan a dictator, by saying the edition is provocative and shows a "distorted mindset" toward the Turks.

The cover shows a sour-faced Erdoğan wearing sunglasses with two minarets from a mosque transformed into rockets and lifting off for an attack. Which illuminates a poem Erdogan wrote and publicly read in 1998 which saw him jailed for 8 months (he was out in 4) for inciting racial hatred. He wrote:
The mosques are our barracks, the domes our helmets, the minarets our bayonets and the faithful our soldiers..."
Now since when has telling the truth become offensive? Ah, I'm talking about the country behind the Armenian genocide where mentioning it in public sees you murdered.
