Syria: Assad Regime complains to the UN after Israel takes out another arms factory building missiles for Hezballah.

(Damascus)  The Syrian Government  has complained to the UN  over how attacked an arms factory in the rural areas south of the Syrian city of Homs. Foreign and Expatriates Ministry addressed two letters to the UN Secretary General and Chairman of the Security Council complaining about an Israeli attack on a copper factory for civil industries in Hassyah industrial zone in Homs province.

“The Government of the Syrian Arab Republic calls upon the UNSC to condemn the blatant Israeli aggressions and calls on the international organization to adopt firm and immediate measures to stop those attacks and hold Israel accountable for its support to terrorism which would inflame the situation in the region and the world,” 


Whilst Israel remains silent on the above strike, it fits into the pattern adopted by the IDF of striking and destroying any advanced weaponry on route to Hezb-allah gifted from either Iran or Syria.

In an act of solidarity with Hezb-allah the Lebanese President Michel Aoun made a Public announcement hours after the strike where he stated that in the next week between Lebanon and Israel, as Israel will lose:
“All the Lebanese are prepared to fight against Israel,” Aoun told Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Rai on Thursday. “Yes, we are a small country, but we have reestablished our national unity, and part of that is the united opposition to anyone who attacks our country.  I do not think there will be war with Israel, because Israel would not win such a war. All Lebanese are ready to resist.”
