Egypt - The Empire Strikes Back

(Cairo) Shocked and reacting to public opinion, the Egyptian government last night struck back at the Islamic idiots who in their haste to attack Israel did so by murdering 16 Egyptian soldiers manning a checkpoint on the Israeli border and who had stood down to break their fast.

So it was that Egyptian forces attacked the terrorists in their beds by launching missiles from Apache gunships which in turn were supported by F-16 fighter jets. However, it seems that the terrorists were expecting such an attack, and while 20 of their own were killed, they forced back the AH-64 Apache gunships by launching numerous anti-aircraft missiles at them.

The thing is, the Egyptians never learn, they were warned days before the attack by the Israelis that an attack was imminent. They decided to ignore it. Their initial reaction (well, the Muslim Brotherhood's) was... the Jews were behind it. But the public soon saw through this and the anger on the streets had to be silenced, hence the attacks and the sacking of the Egyptian intelligence chief who ignored the Israeli warnings.

It has also transpired that when the jihadists went in the other day, they were supported by an artillery barrage from... Gaza. Which explains why Egypt has closed the border with Gaza (including all the tunnels), and today, Hamas laid on a huge mass prayer in front of the Egyptian embassy in Gaza in which to play the victim card. No doubt they will try to get Israel to react so as to continue to play the victim card and get the Egyptians back on their side.

Ramadan death count moves up to 2,160.
