Germany:16 year old who stabbed a police officer for ISIS is jailed for six years

(Hanover) I used to live in this wonderful Germany city and the Bahnhof is where I picked up my love for German Coffee. Anyway, yesterday German-Moroccan citizen Safia S, who is believed to have been radicalised in Germany buggerd off to Turkey last January (2016) after she forged permission from her father to travel alone and flew to Istanbul in which to relocate later into the ISIS held parts of Syria.

Safia S,
Her mother on hearing about this , travelled to Istanbul to take her home. Later the girl wrote to a male friend in Germany talking of her intention to carry out a “martyr operation in Germany”.
“Brother, I spoke with people from Syria, high officials in the [Isil] government, they told me, it’s more effective.”
Which is how in Feb 16, as she was pulled to one side at the main train station (Bhanhof) in Hanover she pulled out a knife from within her black Islamic cloak and slit the throat of the Police woman who has stopped her. Thankfully the woman survived, but she spent over 7 hours in surgery in which to save her life. Today in court in the town of Celle (A few miles north of Hannover) The now 16 year old girl was handed a prison sentence of 6 years.

Security camera footage from Hanover station showed her staring at two police officers. When they asked to see her identity card she lunged at one of them with a knife. The girl later wrote to the police offer to apologise for her attack and she repeated her apology during the trial. Her legal team said they would appeal against the verdict. Her family had warned the authorities that she had become radicalised and lawyer Mutlu Guenal argued that "the real failure lay with police".
