Ramadan Death Count Round Up (July 04, 2014)

(Iraq) The Iraqi government reported that up to 200 terrorists were killed Thursday around the country, as they fight back against ISIS and take the fight to them.

A suicide bomber has detonated an explosives-rigged vehicle at a security forces position north of Baghdad, killing 15 people.

(Afghanistan) 90 Taliban militants were killed and dozens more were injured in separate clashes in southern Helmand province of Afghanistan. An official from the border police forces said the clashes broke out on Thursday in Khanshin district which left 70 Taliban militants dead and around 50 others injured. In a separate clash in Baba Je area, 20 Taliban militants were killed and 7 others were injured.

A suicide bomber decided to go bang as a NATO armoured vehicle went past him in Kandahar, the vehicle continued on its way, but apparently he was in bits because it was undamaged. Tosser.

Four civilians were killed and 17 others were injured in separate blasts in northern and western Afghanistan on Thursday.

(Saudi Arabia) A gun attack on a Saudi border post between Saudi Arabia and Yemen resulted in 3 of the assailants killed and another arrested after they killed the guard commander. On hearing the news about the attack, the Yemeni side reported that the same idiots (above) attacked a Yemeni border post, killing one guard, minutes before the attack on the other side.

(Yemen) Two people were killed and three wounded in an attack on a government complex in Yemen's Baida province Thursday.

(Pakistan) At least two people were killed and three injured in Karachi on Friday when a bomb exploded near a mosque in the Saddar district. According to eyewitnesses, the bomber arrived on a motorcycle and crashed into another bike. The impact detonated the bomb, giving rise to speculation that the mosque was not the intended target of the attack. The bomber died in the blast.

A policeman posted at Garden Headquarters was killed in a firing incident in Gulshan-e-Mamaar area. In a separate incident, a body was found from Lyari. According to police, the victim was tortured to death.

(Lebanon) At least four people were killed and seven wounded in overnight air raids by Syrian forces on mountains and valleys near the Lebanese town of Arsal.

A suicide bomber detonated his vehicle Friday near a police checkpoint in eastern Lebanon, killing two people.

(France) The Moroccan mother of a pupil at a French pre-school stabbed a teacher to death in front of her class Friday, the last day of the school year, screaming 'I'm not a thief' before stabbing the victim in the abdomen.

(Egypt) Army forces killed eight terrorists in a clampdown in the Sinai Peninsula on Thursday night.

Two people were killed, including a child, during clashes between police and pro-Morsi demonstrators in Matariya in eastern Cairo on Friday afternoon.

Three people are believed to have been killed in an explosion early on Friday at a house south of Cairo used for making bombs.

(Sudan) A battle between rival Sudanese clans near an oil-drilling site killed 150 people and wounded 100 more on Thursday. The fighting in West Kordofan state between two sub-groups of the Misseriya tribe "continued all day because of a land dispute near the oil field," said Mohammed Omer Al-Ansari, a tribal leader.

(Israel) A 60 year old Jewish woman was found murdered in the Jerusalem neighborhood of Pisgat Ze’ev, with signs of violence on her body. She was found in the parking lot of a building. Police say they they are investigating the reason for the murder.

Residents near the neighborhood’s shopping center made numerous calls to police last night, alerting them to Arab riots in the neighborhood near the shopping center, along with the cries to “kill the Jews”. The police informed the residents that they are aware of the riots and are dealing with them.

Residents locked themselves in their homes for their own safety.
