Ramadan Death Count Round Up (Asia) (July 27, 2014)

Well, today is the penultimate day for Ramadan, apologies for the lack of posts this weekend, but both of us were away at the same time. Anyway, here's a catch up post (if you've noticed we've missed something, drop us a line):

(Afghanistan) 15 killed in wave of attacks in Afghanistan.

Six armed Taliban, two others killed in Afghan shootout.

2 U.S. soldiers killed in Afghanistan.

Suicide Attack kills 9 civilians in Takhar.

(India) Two people were killed and 19 injured (six in a critical state) after a clash of Sikhs with Muslims over a Gurdwara land in Saharanpur turned violent.

Two policemen were killed in two separate attacks by suspected LeT militants in Kashmir.

(Pakistan) A terrorist was killed and an arms and explosives-laden vehicle was seized in the Khyber Agency of Paksitan on Sunday, also ten suspected terrorists were arrested during a search operation in Landi Kotal.

(Quetta) Master Abdul Khaliqdad had a gripe with a couple of people, so he shot them both dead. Also, a bullet ridden body was recovered by police from Kharoatabad ground, Kuchlak.

(Karachi) Two Army Rangers soldiers manning a check point were killed when unidentified armed men opened fire on a check post here in a Landhi Town’s area on Sunday. Also, armed gunmen opened fire outside a mosque in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, killing two people and injuring another. Finally, 2 terrorists were killed by Army rangers during a shootout.

(Lahore) Four dacoits (bandits) were killed in a police raid in Iqbal town, Lahore late Saturday night.

Operation Zarb-e-Azb (the fight by the Pakistani government against the Taliban) saw 8 terrorists killed during ground operations in various areas of Mir Ali, North Waziristan.

(Thailand) A car bomb exploded in south Thailand where Muslims have been pushing for independence from Bangkok by the use of extreme violence, killing two people and wounding 34.
