(Nigeria) When-27-year old Naima Isa in the Northern Nigerian state of Kano (which is run under Sariah law I should add) was found to be carrying her brother's child, he was brought to the local court in which to explain himself, and explain himself he did.
The allegation levelled against me is true. All that had been read against me, is true, it was a mistake, I mistakenly impregnated her, my elder sister.The Senior Magistrate, Ummi Sani Kurawa, ordered that Isa be remanded in prison custody, and adjourned the matter to August 4.
