Afghanistan: Gun and bomb attack in Kabul kills 28, injures 300+

(Kabul) In its latest attempt in which to wrest power in Afghanistan via the bullet and the bomb (accompanied by lots of Allah ackbas) instead of the ballot box. The Taliban launched a suicide attack in the capital of Afghanistan this morning. It appears that two terrorists were involved in the attack. One drove a small truck rigged with hundreds of kilograms of explosives. The second entered the compound in the aftermath of the explosion and opened fire before he was eventually killed.


The chief of Kabul Police, Abdul Rahman Rahimi informed the media that 28 people been killed and injured 183, that latter figure was later revised at 327 .

Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid claimed responsibility for the attack. Taliban thugs have stepped up their attacks recently since announcing the start of their spring offensive last week. President Ashraf Ghani issued a statement condemning the attack and saying it, "clearly shows the enemy's defeat in face-to-face battle with Afghan security forces." Referring to how the Taliban have to resort to suicide attacks in which to grace the worlds headlines as each and every time they go one to one against the Afghan military they lose, as witnessed by an attack 4 days ago by the Taliban  in northern Kunduzprovince which was repelled by the Afghan security forces.
