(Pretoria) following on from its motion to close links with Israel regards how it defended itself from mass invasion from Gaza. The South African Government today issued a statement calling on the IDF to withdraw from Gaza. The thing is Israel withdrew from Gaza in 2005.

Hi, South African Government. In case you haven't noticed, since 2005 there is no permanent Israeli presence in the Gaza Strip, neither civilian nor military.
