(Nangarhar) Afghan forces have killed nine people, by
mistake during a raid on a house in the eastern province of Nangarhar. Eight
people, including a child and a woman, were also wounded in the operation
carried out by Afghan special forces in the Chaparhar district.
(Pul-e-Alam city) A tribal elder who awarded a ‘medal of bravery’ to US President Donald Trump, was killed
on Sunday by the Taliban. Haji Gul Nabi
was so impressed with how President Trump berated Pakistan in January, that he collected
at least $700 USD dollars from residents and farmers of the province recently to
make the medal, which was handed over to the US embassy. Apparently the
Pakistani funded Taliban couldn’t be having that could they.
(Aqcha District) Three policemen were shot dead by ISIS
affiliates in Aqcha District, Jawzjan province last night.
(Nangarhar province) An
Afghan air strike in eastern Nangarhar province of Afghanistan killed 17
Islamic State (IS) terrorists on Tuesday night. Reports suggest that the dead
terrorists include two divisional commanders of the terrorist group. The air
strike targeted IS hideouts in the Hask Mina district. The dead commanders are
identified as Qari Esrar and Mullah Hasghar.
