Ramadan Death Count Round Up (July 10th, 2015)

(Tunisia) Security forces carrying out operations against Islamic jihadists have killed 5 terrorists in the Gafsa mountains.

(Afghanistan) In the province of Faryab, a couple of incidents have claimed the lives of 6 policemen and 7 terrorists.

(Libya) Three days of fighting in the city of Bengarzi have resulted in 23 people killed. The Army has reported that 15 of its troops have died, along with 8 civilians. No figures have been released by the rebels of their dead.

ISIS has claimed responsibility for the targeted killing of Col Taher Allush who was assassinated as he left a mosque in the city of Misrata.

(Somalia) A suicide bomb attack on a hotel in the capital followed by a gun attack has claimed the lives of 4 people.

(Iraq) An ISIS attack in Anbar province was repulsed by the Iraqi Army Friday, leaving 12 terrorists dead for the cost of 10 troops. The terrorists attacked the government-held town of Khalidiyah by unleashing mortar shells and five suicide car bombers. After an hours-long battle, ISIS pulled back, leaving behind 12 dead thugs.

72 people were killed and 24 others were injured in two separate incidents of violence in the Iraqi capital of Baghdad Friday. In the first incident, at least six people were killed and 22 others were injured in a car bomb attack in south-western Baghdad’s Hayy Al-A'amel region. In the second incident, at least 17 Iraqi soldiers and 47 ISIS terrorists were killed in clashes in the eastern Zaferanieh district of the capital.

(Niger) Boko Haram jihadists continued with their innocent blood letting when they raided the village of Dagaya and slit the throats of 5 civilians working there.
