BALTIMORE (WBFF) -- Baltimore Police are investigating a vandalism that took place at the Baltimore Museum of Art.
A Baltimore Police spokesperson says the incident occurred Friday morning, July 15, at one of the entrances of the museum with the graffiti words 'Kill Cops' spray painted.
Officials confirmed they are looking for a female suspect in connection with the incident that surveillance video captured of her performing the vandalism. They believe that this is a random act of violence.
The words were removed and cleaned in the area where the graffiti was written.
Baltimore Museum communications director, Anne Brown, said they are cooperating with police on the investigation.
"It's a terrible situation," said Brown. "We hope the police find whoever did this."
Police say no additional details will be released at this time.
