The problem for these so called religious fighters is that the Spike ER missile carried by the Israeli AH-64D Apache has a much longer range than any pop gun carried by a foot-soldier. Scratch one Jihadi vehicle.
The Spike missile belongs to a family of Israeli missiles, with some in the same class as the Hellfire , anti-tank but unlike the Hellfires 8km range the ER version has the legs to travel 25km, which kind of explains why the US bought a load in January.Splash!
