(Quetta) five policemen guarding a mosque were killed Monday and 12
others injured in a blast targeting a police vehicle in Quetta
city . The Terrorist group Tehreek-e Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has claimed responsibility for the blast, just
days after its splinter group Hizbul Ahrar claimed the attack on the police
guarding Pakistan's oldest Sufi shrine in Lahore.
A follow up security operation a few miles down the road saw 9 suspected terrorists killed Thursday in a shoot out, 4 police were also injured.
