Ramadan Death count: Iraq 16/06/16

On Thursday, Anbar Police Command announced, that 40 ISIS members were killed in the northern area of Ramadi (110 km west of Baghdad), which included the destruction of three vehicles belonging to ISIS.

Fallujah Shield Brigade Command  announced on Thursday, that 20 ISIS members were killed during the liberation battles of the western axis of Fallujah, while pointing out that the security forces foiled a suicide attack launched by ISIS using three booby-trapped vehicles.

Two police officers had been killed in the explosion of an improvised explosive device that targeted their patrol in southern Baghdad.

The commander of al-Jazeerah Operations, Maj. Gen. Qasim al-Muhammadi, announced on Thursday killing 12 ISIS idiots in the area of al-Doulab west of Heet.

A security source in Kirkuk said on Thursday, that eight ISIS elements had been killed in an aerial bombing by the international coalition southwest of the province.

Thursday armed clashes broke out between ISIS and a force belonging to the army in al-Makhiesa area (20 km northeast of Baqubah), resulting in the killing of 3 soldiers and 4 ISIS members, as well as injuring 4 other soldiers.”

Wednesday, a bomb exploded near the market in  al-Dawanem  southwest of Baghdad, killing two (2) people and injuring four (4) others with different injuries.

Wednesday,three ISIS members were killed in armed clashes with the residents of a village in western Kirkuk, after a villager was executed by the slain militants.

Baghdad Operations Command announced on Wednesday that two soldiers were killed and three others were injured in a suicide bombing that took place near an army post south of Baghdad.

On Wednesday, Iraqi Ministry of Interior stated that an employee in the Ministry of Justice was killed along with her son in an attack by unidentified gunmen in her house, southeast of Baghdad.

On Wednesday, An improvised explosive device exploded, at noon today near a popular market in al-Hussieniyah area in northern Baghdad. One person was killed and five others were injured in the blast.”

Tuesday the  [ISIS] military commander for al-Nasr village, known as Abu Abbas, was killed in an aerial strike by the international coalition aviation in  Makhmour south of Mosul.”

Tuesday, Khalidiya District Council in Anbar province announced that forty (40) ISIS members were killed while they were trying to attack the security forces in northern Ramadi.
