Report: Kerry and Ban Ki-moon headed to Israel on Tuesday to push for ceasefire

US Secretary of State John Kerry is set to arrive in Israel on Tuesday to advance ceasefire efforts between Israel and Hamas, Channel 2 reports.

UN chief Ban Ki-moon is also expected in Israel on that day.
US Secretary of State John Kerry was caught on an open mic talking about Israel’s Operation Protective Edge prior to an interview with Fox News today, in comments that are being described as critical.

“‘It’s a hell of a pinpoint operation, it’s a hell of a pinpoint operation,’ Kerry says to an aide on the phone, with some measure of frustration,” Politico reports.

“We’ve got to get over there…we ought to go tonight. I think it’s crazy to be sitting around,” he says.

The comments, says Politico, seemed to be criticizing Israel’s “assurances about the limited scope of its attack and ground invasion of Gaza.”
Hamas is getting clobbered by Israel, so Obama promptly dispatches Hamas-friendly Kerry to the rescue.

Bibi should tell them he's too busy fighting terrorists to see them.
