Ramadan Death Count Round Up (July 20, 2014)

(Afghanistan) 43 Taliban militants were killed following military operations conducted by Afghan national army (ANA) soldiers.

(Pakistan) Two people were killed when an explosive was detonated in the Seerat Chowk area of Balochistan's Khuzdar district.

Two policemen were gunned down in an attack on a police patrolling vehicle in Peshawar’s Hayatabad area on Sunday.

At least twenty eight terrorists were killed and several wounded as Pakistan Air Force jet fighters hit eight terrorist hideouts in the Dari Wastay area of Shawal valley in North Waziristan.

(Libya) 2 people were killed next to the main airport in Tripoli when rival factions resumed their bitter infighting for control of the place and a mortar round overshot its target and impacted into somebody's home.

(Lebanon) Monzer al-Hassan, suspected of involvement in a suicide bombing at a Beirut hotel last month, was killed this morning when Lebanese security forces knocked on his door and he replied, "Come and get me, Copper", which they did, but they sent in a load of bullets first.
