Ramadan Death Count Round Up (July 09, 2014)

(Iraq) More than 50 bodies have been discovered by Iraqi authorities in an agricultural area outside the city of Hillah, just south of Baghdad, today.

Military spokesman Brigadier General Saad Maan Ibrahim said most of the 53 bodies were found blindfolded with their hands bound and several gunshot wounds.

The dead were all men between the ages of 25 and 40, and it appeared they had been killed a few days earlier and then dumped in the remote area, said a local police officer and a medical official.

(Syria) Syrian rebels rampaged through a Sunni village in the central province of Hama Wednesday, firing indiscriminately at civilians and killing 14 people, including seven women, state media and opposition activists said.

(Afghanistan) Peaceful Taliban terrorists decided to visit the governor of Kandahar City today and because of Islamophobia, they had to take a load of guns with them in which to ensure their safety. Anyway, nasty people just minding their own business either shopping or at work gave these Taliban nasty looks, so they killed 30 of them to teach them a lesson.

(Kashmir) A terrorist trying to sneak into India from Pakistan was shot dead today in the restive Indian religion of Kashmir, which for some reason Pakistan wants.

(Somalia) Yesterday's attack on the president's palace saw all 9 attackers killed.

(Egypt) An explosion in the town of Rafah left at least one soldier dead and four others wounded Wednesday.

Ramadan death toll is now at 2,270.
