After fighting a bitter war against Muslims, South Sudan's Christians continue killing... each other

(South Sudan) The world's youngest country was born out of a desire of Sudan's Southern Christian community to rule themselves. In a civil war that lasted over 50 years and claimed over 2.5 million lives, in 2011, the Christians voted by over 98% to leave Islamic Sudan and start on their own.

3 years down the line, it appears that fighting and killing is fully ingrained in the DNA of the population of South Sudan leaders, and a new report from Doctors Without Borders (Medecins Sans Frontieres, MSF) states that the bitter civil war which besets South Sudan has resulted in over 10,000 people killed, with incidents including the execution of scores of hospital patients.
