Attacks in Afghanistan kills 15

(Kabul) It appears that with the beginning of the Islamic holy month of Ramadan, the Taliban are refusing to put aside their blood lust (like the good Muslims they purport to be) and on top of the ground offensive which they launched the other day in Helmand province (which they lost by the way), they attacked a police contingent at a village meeting, killing 10, and a bomb they laid in Farah province was set off by a vehicle, killing 5 civilians and injuring 5 more.

Ramadan death toll is now at 21.
