Ramadan death count round up: 29/05/17

(Pakistan) 3 people have been killed with 7 others injured when 2 clans decided to play king of the mud heap. The deadly feud which has been ongoing for several years has so far claimed 15 lives.

(Tunisia) Tunisian security forces have killed a leader of ISIS who was plotting attacks during the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan, authorities said Monday.

(Iraq) Iraqi fighter jets killed several Islamic State militants in an airstrike that targeted their havens in west of Anbar province.

(Iraq) Fourteen Islamic State militants were killed and motorbikes were destroyed in Mosul’s Old City.

(Iraq) A child was killed and three other people were wounded on Monday when an Islamic State's guided drone bombarded an area north of Salahuddin.

(Iraq) 10 ISIS idiots have been killed, whilst 1 Iraqi soldier was also killed in Iraqi army operations in al-Sihha al-Thaniya district late on Sunday.

(Iraq) Twin bomb attacks by the Islamic State group outside a popular ice cream shop in central Baghdad and a rush hour car bomb in another downtown area killed at least 27 people on Tuesday.
The first struck outside an ice cream parlor in the bustling Karrada neighbourhood killed 15 people and also wounded 27. In the second attack, an explosives-laden car went off during rush hour near the state-run Public Pension Office in Baghdad's busy Shawaka area, killing 12, with another 23 people were wounded. 

(West Bank) A young Palestinian man was killed and four others were injured during street brawl in Askar refugee camp Sunday night. 28-year-old Bakr Ayoub Fahd Fayyad was stabbed to death during a local brawl in the old part of the refugee camp, which falls within Nablus' municipal boundaries. Four others sustained minor to moderate wounds.

(West Bank) A Palestinian man from the village of Qabatiya was killed on Tuesday after "accidentally" being shot with his own rifle while hunting, according to Palestinian and Israeli sources. It is not known if Abu al-Rub shot himself or if someone else fired the weapon.

(West Bank) A Palestinian man was killed and another was critically injured after two men stabbed each other inside a vehicle in the city of Qalqiliya in the northern occupied West Bank on Monday afternoon.

(Turkey) The editor-in-chief of Turkish daily Yeni Akit, Kadir Demirel, was killed by his son-in-law in a knife attack in Istanbul's Başakşehir district. According to Habertürk news' report, Demirel's son-in-law Cemil K. attacked him and his daughter and fled the scene. Demirel's daughter is reportedly in critical condition.

(Syria) Fourteen civilians were killed late Monday when Islamic State shelled a government-controlled neighbourhood of Syria's eastern Deir Ezzor city.

(Syria) A quarrel between two families in southern Idlib quickly turned violent this past weekend, as terrorists from Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham and Harakat Ahrar Al-Sham clashed in the town of Feyloun. Resulting in at  least six fighters from Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham being killed, when members of Harakat Ahrar Al-Sham executed the men after capturing them in southern Idlib.

(Syria) Skirmishes on the western fringes of Aleppo city between Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham (HTS) and the Syrian army has seen five soldiers of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) being killed.

Ramadan death toll now stands at 400.
